I searched through hundreds of hall trees on Amazon and Wayfair. Initially I preferred a solid wood look, but the space I needed to fit was very specific. I needed access to my fuse box and a light switch and I didn’t want to spend a ton of money. This is for my garage and wanted plenty of storage for shoes, sports equipment, etc. this was the only one that fit the bill without major modifications.For the price and being composite material I expected it to be comprised of cheapo materials. I was very surprised at how solid everything is. It’s solid! Even the screws are well turned and very good quality. And I was surprised it came with everything needed for assembly. You can put it together with everything that came out of the box. I did the whole thing by hand using the little L wrenches and my own screwdriver. It comes with a fairly decent screwdriver with changeable tips, but I preferred my own. I was able to put it together by myself and I am shorter than 5’ tall and not particularly strong. It took me a couple of hours because I had to do errands in between and I misplaced one of the L wrenches for a bit. It would have been faster with help and a power tool. Personally, I preferred assembling it by hand to prevent over-tightening that might crack the wood pieces or strip the screws. The only thing that was tricky was one of the posts that forms the three shelves . I think it was part J. It looks like you can flip it and that the orientation will be the same it it is not. If you don’t orient it correctly your shelves will not line up on one corner. Once I figured that out everything fit perfectly. The kit comes with the safety straps. I ordered some storage boxes from Amazon that should fit the shelves. I’m so happy with this product. It transformed an area that was a magnet for mess and chaos to an organized and functional haven at an incredibly affordable price. I’m so happy!!! This has to be my favorite purchase in very long time.

This unit is beautiful and sturdy! The instructions were easy to follow and I put it together by myself! Great buy!

It was a bit of a project to put together. The screwdriver they supplied actually stripped. Yes. The screwdriver, not the screws stripped. I just got out my power screwdriver and the rest was a sinch. Looks great. Very happy with the design. Good quality for the price.

This was perfect for my space. Dimensions are accurate. It took my husband a little over 2 hours to put it together by himself. We have many vasagle pieces in our home and we are never disappointed!

This took an extremely accomplished handy man over three hours to put together. VERY confusing instructions. The materials used are decent enough, but was a bit expensive for this mostly metal piece. The hooks are well-made and the shelving are nice sizes. Takes up a good amount of space. The bench is too hard to sit on, but can be used to store more items. We do use this piece but will look for another one at some point. Very dark in color.

The appearance is nice BUT there is clearly no quality control. The screw holes are unevenly matched, two of three shelves are not leveled. The stability seems ok. Easy to assemble, although there is no way to adjust the height or level of the shelves.

The clutter of the entryway with three kids is now organized and fabulous! Even the kids prefer it. Very sturdy, easy to assemble and found some baskets that fit in perfectly for smaller items. Just what I was looking for.

Every piece of ours fit perfectly , all holes were drilled and every thing fit flush.It came nicely packaged nothing was missing. 10/10 recommend.A few times we had to unscrew some pieces due to us getting ahead of ourselves but our mistakes so read directions carefully!There was only a few reviews when we bought it hopefully this helps some one decide to get it :) we like it and can’t wait to put it to use, especially to see how it holds up!

Just finished putting it together. A lot of work.. takes time. Really nice sturdy product.

Was easy to assemble following the instructions. All parts were included and there is a screw driver and Allen key included. Would recommend this product.

How do I put this together?The manufacturer did not include an instruction booklet.

Couldn’t be happier with it. Excellent value for the price and was very simple to put together in about an hour.

This is in our front entrance. It is lovely and so practical but charming to look at. I love it. Great price.
