I thought my tap water was tasting funny, so I got this to test it. Within 2 minutes of opening it, I found out my tap water is actually okay and it just tastes funny (but it’s nice to know it’s potable).It’s super easy to use, literally only takes a couple seconds to test. Just for fun, I also tested my water filter and bottled water. I don’t go hiking or camping, but this would probably be extremely useful for those types of scenarios.

Got this when I got a water purifier and it works great for that. It is consistant and appears to be pretty accurate and for $13 its worth the money. It was handy for checking the purified water on my new unit again the tap and bottled water. Happy with it and glad I got it.

Works great in finding out the quality of your drinking water. It will surprise you!! Solid device and very easy to use!!

I am not sure how much accurate or not. I have tested on tap water, ozone-filtered water, and distilled water. The comparison looked valid. I tried different times and the numbers were almost the same with previous records. However, it showed a higher record when I tried on hot water. I do not know much about how it effects. But When I tried them with hot water, records came higher correspondingly.

Bought one back in November and it still working great!Decided to buy a second one for my brother in December and is must be a defect one. The reading is very inconsistent even though water is tested within the hour of each other. The number would jump from 18-140 with the same glass of water. Unfortunately, I forgot to submit the return within 30 days.

My boyfriend had me order these for him. He checks our water from time to time. Says these are easy to use.

I did a try, my water is 220ppm, after brita filtering, it is 140ppm. I felt strange and tried it on distilled water, it was 120ppm… totally not accurate, no recommend to buy.
