This is a great way to save space in your kitchen. Its not too difficult to install and it holds up an extra microwave just fine. The only thing is, the layer to support the second microwave is not that strong, so while it’ll hold a microwave just fine, it won’t work as a dual purpose thing (to hold books or such)

thats fine. my office is a disaster during school semester, and usually after.. and before.i use this as a floor shelf, if that makes any sense. i place my snacks/coffee on this rather than on the desk. its sturdier than a cardboard box, but if its being used as a stationary item, you wont have any problem.

This is a nice light duty all metal rack. My intended use is not for a microwave stand or even in the kitchen, but to hold my ammo cases that contain small lithium battery electronics, see photos. The shelf was easy to assemble (all holes lined up correctly) and comes with assembly instruction, but it is just a simple one image on how it goes together. Everything was included including one extra screw. Another thing I always check is this item clean since I will be assembling it on my living room carpet floor. I recently ordered the extendable microwave stand in black. We have a very small kitchen with crazy little counterspace. We have a dual drawer air fryer that takes up some real estate. I got this to use so we could go vertical. This must be assembled and the included instructions are not great. My husband, who is handy, put this together very quickly. It fit perfect for over the air fryer. The problem is that if you extend this too much, the shelf is very unstable and caves in before you add any weight to it. Also, there is a lot of plastic pieces, some of which are right where the hot air blows out, so we will have to be mindful of that when using it. It would be better if everything was metal and if the metal was higher quality.

I had hoped this would be stable since it was made of metal. However, that isn't the case. The shelf is very thin, feels like aluminum. The expansion rods are small and very insecure. The whole thing is quite wobbly if expanded any amount. There are plastic parts included that don't seem to fit anywhere or make sense. I don't know how they're supposed to go. They aren't listed on the assembly paper or in the instructions. There is nothing to indicate how they should be attached other than the photo on this page. This is way overpriced at 34.00 for the quality. The stars are because the assembly of the metal frame was easy even though the instructions didn't exist.

I really like this microwave stand. I am not even using it for a microwave, but using it as a shelf. I decided to turn it upside down and use it upside down because it was more sturdy that way on the surface that I put it. There is a gap between the shelf and the wall and I didn’t want the feet to fall behind. It actually looks really stylish and cool this way. if it’s a ton of stuff and I love how you can make it bigger or smaller. It is a really great size.

This rack is a great addition for extra storage space. I have it extended about as wide as it will go, and it is not quite as stable in the extended position. I don't think that I would trust putting a microwave on the top shelf at this width. It is tall enough for good clearance underneath the top rack, and the side attachments are handy. The feet that go on the bottom of the legs are very nice, soft, padded plastic.
