I bought the plastic red and white case that is made for the PI5 and didn't feel it had good cooling nor strong enough for my concerns.What I found with this case, is a strong, wonderful case that works great with a PI5.I track the temperatures of my PI and found my PI ran 5 to 10 degrees cooler once I moved from the red and one case to this one...Highly recommend and plenty of space you are considering using a HAT and/or factory fan...

Sturdy, well machined and well put together. Enough room for the Pi and its cooler hat, and it looks like there's still enough room for yet another hat, such as a hard-drive-solid-state-equivalent. I haven't yet put another such hat on it, but it sure looks like there's enough head room inside the generously-sized little case. All the small parts (spacer bolts, for instance, plus the nice little screwdriver they include) were present and carefully packaged. I had zero trouble with assembly.

Great case! It's strong, well built, sturdy, easy to open and close. It has an excellent PWM fan controlled by the Raspberry 5 itself. It come with all the screws you need, along with some extras, if you drop one and lose it in the carpet. It also comes with a handy little philips screwdriver to use if you don't have the right size one on hand.One thing about that screwdriver though. It's packaged inside the case, with two small screws holding the case closed. If you don't have a screwdriver, and need to use the nice little one they provided, you can't get to it because it's behind two screws you need to remove! Easy enough to change, if they simply use a small piece of tape to hold it closed during shipping.

I recently purchased the GeeekPi Metal Case for my Raspberry Pi 5 (8GB version) and overall, I'm very satisfied with the product. The aluminum case feels sturdy and well-made, providing excellent protection against damage, dust, and scratches. I absolutely love this Raspberry Pi 5 case. It is my opinion, it is great with airflow, as it leaves some room / volume inside case above the pi to allow it. My pi is always cool.This pi cooler and all fit precisely. For perspective, I put a pic of mine with my mouse to see size. It feels strong and that it is quality. It has decent weight when all is installed, has little rubber feet, so it does not slide on desk easily.All hardware was included as needed - very simply to set up! If you are looking for a nice case with good airflow - this one is awesome!

Will this case nicely fit a Pi 5 + the official (included!) Pi 5 Active Cooler + Waveshare PoE HAT (F) + RTC battery?Yes. Barely, but yes. It all fits together snugly and safely. This is a great metal case—highly recommend. I was surprised to see that the included active cooler is the official Pi 5 Active Cooler in its retail box. That's a nice added value, considering that alone is $10 on Amazon.

I was very happy when the product arrived to see all the components in tack and ready to be assembled. The metal case was light weight but study metal and was easy to put together. Came with a small screwdriver. All the holes lined up and they gave extra components in case you lost one because they are very small pieces. Very well pleased with the design and the pictured instructions.
