Surprisingly good fit!
I selected this SoeKewo balaclava for winter cycling use. I have several others with various other features (fit, fabric, style, etc.). This mask surprised me because I didn’t think it would fit well based on the product photos. Once I started to use it, however, I found that it quickly moved to the top of my list primarily based on the fit and construction of the fabric that covers the lower portion of the face.I have issues with other balaclavas when I try to pull them up over my nose which results in my breath being directed upwards and fogging up my glasses. This balaclava uses a thinner, eleastic material that conforms better to the contour of my face. It also attaches to the mask near the rear of the head, allowing it to pivot up and downward from the rear. This means that it’s easy to raise and lower on my face; depending on whether I want to cover my nose or not.Another key concern of mine is how to address wearing glasses. Again, this material conforms tightly to my head and allows me to place the stems of my glasses on the outside; which creates a nice seal around my face vs. funneling the cold air.I wear a cycling helmet with this, but it only covers the top half of my head, so it doesn’t obstruct any movement of the balaclava. In summary, I wasn’t expecting much from this balaclava, but was pleasantly surprised on how well it works once I started using it.

Well made and warm
This is a review for SoeKewo Ski Mask Balaclava Winter Neck Warmer Fleece Thermal Face Mask Cover for Cold Weather Skiing Motorcycle CyclingI wanted a way to keep my face warm while ice fishing this year, and perhaps while skiing. Unfortunately, because of the unpredictability of Michigan weather, I did neither this this year (so far). This balaclava has a good fit that contours comfortably to the head. The fabric is breathable and feels durable. I did not notice any loose seams, and the stitching was well done, with no loose threads. The thickness of the fabric is just right so you are at a comfortable temperature, with no freezing cold or swampy heat.Overall, I recommend this.

perfect for skiing with a helmet
I just got back from skiing Park City, Utah for a week and this is my new favorite Balaclava. This is a thin and flexible material (not like a thick fleece) which stays on your face either up or pulled down. It doesn't show well in the pictures, but the area that covers your nose and mouth are a thinner mesh making it easier to breath and I notices it didn't get soaking wet like most of my balaclava's that are trapping in the moisture as I exhale. The front and the back come down very far to protect the neck so even when I skied with my jacket not fully zipped up, I was still protected. Overall I enjoyed the protection from the cold and the material was warm enough in 20-30 degree weather while still being thin enough to comfortably fit under my helmet. Highly recommended!

A must for cold wind
This is an excellent Balaclava - Fits under helmet easy and under other hats to provide a lot of wind and cold protection while still breathable and vented as to not be sweaty

Not sure about warmth and fit
Just received this, have to keep readjusting it on my head. Won't know about warmth until I test itvin the cold. One feature I like is being able to lower the nose flap so you can eat or drink something without fighting with the nose piece.

Perfect for friends to use when they go skiing
I am not a skier but we have had houseguests that do. They sometimes lack sufficient protective equipment for cold, windy days up at Ski Santa Fe. So, I ordered this balaclava to have on hand to lend them to use. The reviews they provided were great. Both said the balaclava was very warm when the wind was cold going up the mountain (25 degrees). Unlike some other balaclava, they said their breath did not condense and make the balaclava wet/icy. One friend said that when she was skiing hard, though, she had to pull it down below her nose so she could breathe better. She added if it had been really cold, she didn't think this would have been warm enough.I washed it before I lent it out so I was unable to tell if it felt itchy before washing (which I noticed someone else noted in their review). After washing, though, no one reported it felt itchy. Both reported the sun warmed things up later in the day and the balaclava got pulled down to become a slightly bulky gaiter. Both said it was just OK as a gaiter (a little too bulky). But, they both asked where I got it as they wanted to order their own. So, I think I will need to order several so I can just give them away to friends who ski when they visit.

Decent Balaclava
There are pros and cons to this balaclava. Overall, it’s a generally nice piece of protective head ware.Pros:- It is warm.- It is soft and stretchy.- The mesh mouth/breathing port is a nice touch.Cons:- The shape of the mouth/chin piece makes it a bit bulky and uncomfortable to wear under a properly fitted ski helmet. There is some bunching at the cheekbone/temple area as well as the jawline. This could just be due to my husband’s head shape.- If you are wearing goggles or protective eyewear you must pull the mesh nose/mouth panel down to at least under the nose to prevent fogging.- The material is a bit thick overall to wear while doing snow sports like skiing. If you’re just wearing this as a general layer of warmth, this is a non issue.

Soft, comfortable, warm
I've tried a couple of these, and this one is the perfect blend of thickness, lining comfort and warmth. I wear this with ski goggles that have a nose flap already so this sits just below my nose, and the straight-across fabric flap is perfect for this. This adds a lot of warmth under a helmet on those arctic days, and surprisingly doesn't get soaking wet from my breath or snow like some other fleece materials do.Overall I'm really happy with this. Only thing that kind of rubs me weird is the seam on the side of the head where my helmet speakers press slightly against my ears, which can get a little uncomfortable after a few hours. Luckily I can usually just shift the fabric seam an inch and the pain goes away.Easy recommend! Get this one!
