Sizing is accurate and it's very sturdy once put together.The light strip tape backing is pretty weak and the little feet that came with it are the wrong size but the lights an easy enough fix with some double sided tape and the legs are on tile with no intentions to be moved in the future so not a huge deal for me.

I tracked this product for a while before making the purchase. I have 2 leopard geckos: one in a 20 gallon long tank that will eventually upgrade to a 40, and another that needed a new tank period. I was searching for space saving options, but most shelves that could hold a 20 gallon or 40 gallon tank on top could not accommodate a 20 gallon or 40 gallon on the bottom - only 10 gallons, which are too small for leopard geckos. They also couldn't accommodate a heat lamp for the bottom tank, as there wasn't enough room for the lamp to sit atop the bottom tank. Then I stumbled up this beauty! This holds the 20 gallon tank on top, and is built to hold a 40 gallon for when it eventually gets upgraded. The bottom housing included with this shelf appears to be between 30 and 40 gallons. The privacy area works perfect for my albino leopard gecko since he's more sensitive to light. The screen on this enclosure allows for his heat lamp - and can even fit 2. The outlet is another great feature because I need it for their heat lamps. The lighting strip is an added bonus and looks really great. I used a cement adhesive to keep it held up behind the top table where it is hidden, rather than under the table where I believe the instructions tell you to place it. I can go on and on about how great this product is - not only the space saving element and functionality, but it saved me money in the end because the included bottom enclosure saved me from having to purchase a whole new 40 gallon (well over a hundred bucks) and a shelf to hold 2 large tanks (also around a hundred bucks). I will say, the bottom enclosure remains darker so works best for a pet that doesn't like or need much light (like some albino pets). Very sturdy as well.

Absolutely worth every penny! Such a space saver and perfect for my two leopard geckos! It took a little while to put together but overall was pretty easy to assemble and came with all the tools needed which was nice. Definitely do not put a snake in this, especially one that's small like a corn snake, there are gaps, small but an excape artist will get out! Lol

Not a suitable stand for a 75 gallon tank. We had this stand level and started to fill a 75 gallon tank and didn’t even get it 3/4 the way filled and the self leveling leg gave out. Luckily we was right there and was able to save the tank and stand from falling. So now we take to draining the tank and using the stand for something else. To be honest if we didn’t already throw away the box we would send it back. I also wouldn’t trust any aquatic tank but maybe a small beta tank on it.

What was I was looking for. To people saying plexiglass was foggy needed to take protective cover off first. Also there is a bottom tray with about an inch depth so you can use substrate, I added a piece of wood to help keep it from spilling out or incase I want to add more. Directions were good and screw bags were numbered. There are gaps between door so I could see smaller snakes being able to escape. Good for geckos though.

The product is constructed with durability in mind and is fully equipped to support a 37-gallon fish tank. However, it was bought with the intention of accommodating our Bearded Dragon, who appreciates observing his environment. Unfortunately, the frosted panels included inhibit visibility, which is a critical aspect for both our Dragon and onlookers. To mitigate this issue, we intend to keep the doors open and will visit Home Depot to purchase additional materials that align with the images depicted in both the reviews and advertisements. Not ideal for something that cost almost $200

This shelf is absolutely amazing! It took a little while to build but the instructions were very clear and simple to follow. The shelf is extremely sturdy and is already holding up my 40 gallon tank that’s half full of water with my turtle inside. I haven’t used the bottom built in enclosure yet because my snake is a little too small for it right now and could possibly slip through the front gap where the hinge is. Once he gets big enough though, I will be transferring him in. The led lights and mounted extension outlet are amazing added bonuses that work so well! For the great price, this purchase is exceeded my expectations by far!

Worth the money, build quality was very sturdy and easy to build, perfect amount of storage for our two snakes, impossible to scratch, fits perfectly together and through every doorway with no problem. The only thing that would make it better is if it had wheels to make it easier to move because it’s pretty heavy.
