I have grown up with all the racket and paddle sports that you can imagine. My favorites were tennis, table tennis, badminton and racket ball. This allowed me to develop an incredible spin on everything I played. Then came pickleball. It looked interesting, so I purchased an inexpensive pickleball set from Costco and have been using it for quite a while. I was new to the sport so I needed to learn the rules and how to keep score. After using the paddles and watching countless pickleball you tube reviews, I became very informed regarding the sport and equipment. So, I decided it was time for a paddle upgrade and wanted a hybrid shape with a carbon surface. I found this Racka paddle here on Amazon and went over the specs. It had the carbon fiber surface, it was thermoformed and had the foam that I wanted. A high quality paddle needs edge foam that surrounds the paddle head and travels all the was down to the base of the handle for strength. The hybrid shape gives a large sweet spot and the nice 5.3” handle allows a 2 handed back swing if you like to do that. The paddle weighted in between 8.1 and 8.2 oz which gives you quick hands and plenty of power. So, how does it play. Let’s just say OMG. This is a great paddle with fantastic spin on the ball. It provides great power and control with a nice pop, not to mention it comes with a paddle cover and an eraser cleaner for the carbon surface. I took it to my beginner pickleball class at the high school, as the Amazon delivery made it just in time. My usual group of 4 was down to 3. So, I played 1 against 2. My plays at the kitchen line improved greatly over my beginner paddle. After class, the coach came over and said, I should be in the expert classes. She must of been watching. It was so natural, I did not even have to think about what to do. This paddle improved my game so much. I’m buying another one, since my younger daughter wants to learn.

I recently bought this paddle and right away was impressed by the excellent build quality and the included paddle cover and cleaner, which makes it a great package deal.Gameplay:The balance it offers between power, control, and spin feels just spot on. Since I started using it, I've experienced a noticeable improvement in my game play. It gives me the confidence to make those decisive shots with power while still maintaining control, and the spin I can generate with it has added a whole new dimension to my gameplay.Look and feel:Paddle looks sleek, has a comfortable grip and a great balance and weight. The shots make a nice popping sound, the large sweet spot gives consistent returns and great spin. This is now my favorite paddle over other more expensive ones I own. I will continue to play with this, and update my review with more details.Highly recommend this if you are getting more serious about your game.

Out of the other top expensive brand paddles I have used in the past, this RACKA paddle is the most balanced in terms of providing massive spin, control, power and pop.The paddle's texture is very gritty and I can easily generate good spin. I love the sleek and modern look as well, got a few compliments on the court about how classy the paddle looks!
