The scariest and most brutally efficient thing in my kitchen
This is the perfect thing for someone who insists that this modern world is too safe. This meat cutting machine is absolutely unapologetic about the fact it is here to do only one thing, and to do it really well: carve whatever fits into its slot, into thin little strips. It's fast and powerful, and the instruction manual tells you less about strategies to keep your fingers than the product pictures here on Amazon. So, I'm adding some tips to my review: USE TONGS TO FEED IT! I was being careful, so I used tongs to feed a cucumber in. The cucumber was yanked down rapidly, and if my hand had been holding it I'd hope to have let go in time before my fingers followed it. So, use tongs, never feed it with your fingers or you might ... feed it with your fingers. It's a spectacular timesaver on vegetables and on steaks. I haven't tried other kinds of meat yet, but I expect to see great things from it. The one thing I am not thrilled with is how difficult it is to adequately clean the blades. This thing definitely feels like it's made to sit in a butcher shop running almost around the clock, and get washed out with a steam cleaner at the end of the day. By the way, I think that is what I would recommend to clean it. The instructions do mention that you must use really hot water to wash it, so that it evaporates instead of causing rust. Attached, you'll find the results of running cucumbers and steaks through it. This was a package of bottom round steaks, and the machine barely even slowed down to process them. The 550lbs/hr rated capacity feels like an understatement; the machine feels like it could probably do that in a much shorter amount of time.On another note, if you feed the slices back into it, you get some beautifully shredded little pieces. I actually made a dish that tasted a lot like larb from some meat that I tried that with.

Junk shredder
Complete junk I don’t recommend

Powerful Slitter
This unit slices tons of meat in no time. The only drawback is it cuts/slits one set width. If you reintroduce the cut, it would shred it. Difficult to get cubes which we wanted. Either way, it is a time saver by far. Cleaning is not too bad.

Powerful
This meat cutter is very powerful and cuts a ton of meat in no time! Blades are super sharp, it slices meat real thin i wish it would cut in cubes but maybe I need another machine for that. Cleaning is a little hard to do and if you do it right, it will not rust. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

Rust and black residue
The media could not be loaded. I put I piece of cooked chicken through this to shred for a wing dip and the chicken came out with black junk all over it. I shined the light in and saw rust as well. Sending back.

PERFECT JERKY SLICES!!
Ok so first off this thing definitely is amazing I use ut at least once a week usually. It use it to make PERFECT jerky slices and you don't even have to semi freeze your meat just chunk it in sizes to fit and drop. I use it on steak, chicken, fatty roasts I run through a few times and make coarse chopped steak burgers, peppers, shredded lettuce, etc. I wouldn't recommend hard items such as onions, carrots, potatoes, apples, etc unless they're already sliced maybe 1/4-1/2" thick, cheese kinda gets hung up. Great for fajitas. Definitely would recommend... now the only flaws I see... blades will rust if you don't oil them so give them a generous spray of a cooking oil after washing. We wash ours in the dishwasher and it usually comes clean well as long as it hasn't sat and stuck on. The top guard and chute are a hard clear plastic with very little give which makes it a little brittle especially at the hinges. Mine has broken on one side but still is holding on. I'd like to see a redesign on the hinge or at least replacement parts available because the guard is Definitely needed these blades are SHARP and this is definitely a dangerous machine if you're not careful. It will do to your finger the same thing it will to a steak. Overall a good purchase and I'd recommend it to anyone ESPECIALLY if your kids like their meats and stuff cut up or you make strip meat Jerky often Or fajitas!
