You have to pop out the old pillow and replace the new one. There are two little pegs that can be kind of hard to pull out. I found them easier to push in, though it required a quick hit with the palm of my hand to get it in. Our pillows are trapezoidal in shape, and this is a rectangle, so they didn't fit exactly, but the pegs were in the same place, so I could get them in.

It is a perfect ft to replace the original pillows for my Coleman/maxx spa California cooperage model 107 hot tub. I couldn’t find any original pillows to replace the ones I had that were falling apart. These were a perfect match to replace them. The only thing was the originals are a lighter shade of grey but I had to replaceAll of them as they were falling apart so it doesnt even matter

I love these replacement head rests I purchased for my 10year old hot tub. I wish I ordered 2 more!! These are currently not available and everything else is triple the price I originally paid. When I find a quality product I stick with that!!!
