Very good for digital painting and design
I recently got it and has worked perfectly fine for me. I do have to make clear: I do not use it for heavy gaming, but I do play Terraria, Minecraft and The Sims 4 occasionally. The main tasks I use it for are digital painting, digital design and studying (using Office, Teams, Zoom, etc.) and it has performed very nicely. It has no touble at all managing the bigger, more complex brush settings, such as those that mimic real paint, but I do switch it to Performance mode when using them. The keyboard is nice, it feels comfortable to the touch and is easy to adapt to if you are used to a bigger laptop format. It is also very fast and easy to work with, with short waiting times for heavier apps to open (I use the Adobe Creative Suite and it does not take more than a minute to open any of the apps). With this kind of use, I have not noticed any kind of heating or fan noise. The screen brightness is perfect and adaptive for indoor use, whether the room has dim, bright or no lighting. Also, it has quite a wide range of screen viewing angles.I have noticed the cover gets fingerprint marks quite easily, but my hands do sweat a bit more than the average person's, so this could not be the case for you. Both the device and the charger are very heavy, so I would not recomment carrying it with you to work or school, unless you have no other option. But, if you can, I would totally recommend getting a tablet or some other kind of PC-like portable device in which you can do some lighter tasks, and then detail them at home.I have seen some other people complaining about it heating too much on the Turbo setting, but there are solutions to this. Also, I believe it is relatively common for this kind of PC's to heat up when they're used for heavier tasks.

Nice overall laptop package for the price.
Design is nice, build quality isn't bad but not great. Chasis is mix of plastic and metal. Specs are really nice and so far has played everything I've thrown at it well. Performs well and has a ton of power. Does get a bit loud under load, so buy some headphones and a cooler pad. Screen is amazing at 3k and has really good colors and brightness. WiFi and bluetooth chipset isn't bad either.A really good package for the price. My laptop is the predator Helios neo 14 with 185h and 4070.

Works Great
So far the computer works great and can play all the games my partner has been wanting to. So for people looking for gaming computers, this can play heavily modded Sims, Minecraft, etc.

Memory on this model requires it to be soldered on but great if on sale
I like it and for the sale price of $950 it was a bargain. My only complaints are it comes with Windows 11 and the memory is soldered on so if you want more than 16GB you will either have to get the model with the 32GB soldered on, pay someone to do it or be good enough to do it yourself. Out of the box it had 58% memory usage with the 16GB model I purchased. After removing bloatware, unnecessary windows services and components, at idle it runs about 38% usage for me. I kept the Predator apps and what not, they are pretty nifty. It runs games like Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora at max settings at 1080p and can do 4k but I wouldn’t recommend it. We mostly play Diablo 4 and Baldur’s Gate 3 on it and those can be ran at 4k or 2k and run rather well. The fan does run loud when ya do set to auto in turbo mode so I highly recommend a laptop cooling pad to help. We have not experienced any hot temps even without the cooling pad but better safe than sorry. Not worth buying unless it’s 950 or less, even more less as this model gets older. Was gonna build a portable desktop with a built in display for the case but I have too many projects as it is not to mention I work a lot so this was a nice cheap alternative to get me by until I had the time to build something better that can be upgraded in the future. At $950 on 2024 Black Friday I feel I got what I paid for just wish I had gotten the 32GB model looking back. I am capable of soldering on extra memory myself however so if it becomes a problem in the future it wouldn’t be an issue for my household.

Very nice laptop!
I bought this laptop back in October of 2024 - waited awhile to see how it would go before I left a review.I'm an Apple guy so I was a little nervous going back to Windows. This laptop is very nice. Windows 11 is very nice also. Windows supplies its office suite as a test drive with limited time before they want you sign up for longer periods of time. I'll probably just buy the 1 time deal for 150.00 and then I'll have what I need. I really don't need the 365 suite. The screen is very bright and does not disappoint. It's very crisp with excellent detail and colors and is 18". I have not noticed any backlight bleed whatsoever. I only had 16" on my MacBook Pro. The screen size was a major reason why I wanted this laptop. The keyboard is backlit and you can change the color to whatever color you want the back light to be. It mainly sits on my desk. I moved it upstairs the other day for a bit on the battery. Battery life is not Apple battery life. It drains fairly quickly compared to my older MacBook Pro, but I'm not travelling with it much and it sits primarily on my desk. The power supply is rather large for it.Some people were complaining about the fans being too loud. Well, its a gaming laptop and some fan noise is expected. If I were a gamer the fans would be louder I'm sure, but I'm only using it for daily activities and I can here the fans but I'm not bothered by them as they are fairly quiet. The fans are adjustable via the Predator software they provide with the laptop.McAffee suite comes with it as a trial. The laptop is quick, grant you I'm not pushing to hard, but I have noticed no waiting when it comes to using it, so the processor speed and memory are fine for me. I do watch movies on it and the 18" screen is exceptional. All in all I'm very pleased with it. My only complaint is that at first the trackpad was a bit touchy. There is however an adjustment for this in Windows 11 to adjust the sensitivity. I noticed it's on sale for Black Friday that is a better deal than what I paid for it by probably 100 bucks or so back in October. If you want a big laptop, just buy it - you won't be disappointed.
