Perfect for travel
Got these because you never quite know what you'll find in a vacation rental kitchen. These are lightweight and most of important reliable even outperforming some of the larger units AirBNB hosts provide since these can sometimes be cheap, poorly made, and pretty beat up.

Saves on Dentist Bills!
These are great for camping and boating. Much easier to use than the large scissor like openers and take up 1/5 the space and weight.

Works great, but to those who didn't grow up using these, it can seem a little weird at first
Nothing much to say here other than it works. I have used this style in the past and remember these in the drawer at my great grandmother's home in the 1970s. Even then I thought they were left over from a prior generation. But they worked then and they work now. That said, it's been 30 years since I have used one and I actually had to read the instructions and fiddle with it for a bit. Once I got it right, my muscle memory returned. These won't probably replace your daily driver manual openers with two handles and the rotating blade mechanism that presses into the lid. But for camping or packing or for backup or having in an RV, they're great. Two tools in one with minimal weight and space. The shape is a little bulky compared to, say a military P-38 or P-51 opener, but it's easier on the hands with regular use and has the added bottle opener. And still much smaller than your usual daily can opener. My only real criticism is that the bottle opener is pretty poor. It doesn't fit the bottles I drink beer from (which are the ones sold all over America in every brand) at least. I can open a bottle with effort and several tries, so I will likely take a file to it to shape it up a bit so it will hold and lift better. But as I said, this is mostly a space-saving backup for those vacation rentals and cabins where I find the can opener is missing. For that, it's great.

You don't even get what you pay for
I have used mini can openers like this over the years and I lost my last one in a recent move so I got these as a replacement. Oh my, how disappointing. These are absolute garbage compared to my previous experience with something similar. I will search for a different brand because these are unfortunately going in the bin. I tried them on multiple can types thinking they may do better with different lip types - nope. These do not bite well enough and spin right off and do not stay engaged with the can. The pivot rivet is too loose which allows the camming action to be reduced significantly and it will not cut into the lid properly. You can't even mash the rivet to a larger diameter to take up the slack. I suppose I could drill it out, put a bushing and new rivet in place but then it would be a $150 can opener. How dare I even think I would be a happy consumer and get what I want for $4 and change!

Will work in a pinch.
I wanted a small can opener I could keep in my bag for soups, fruit or anything I bring for lunch that I forget to look and see if it's a pop top. It's hard to get started and not very quick but it will do the job in a pinch.

The Last Can Opener You Will Ever Need
I have owned one of these for decades; let me repeat that: FOR DECADES!I picked up one of these at a thrift shop I think in the 1980's. I wanted something to take along for extended camping, something light. Little did I know how amazing these things are!Quick, easy to use (for right-handers; don't know about lefties), this has been my Old Reliable since the first time I used it.I have tried other can openers, ones more attractive or cool-looking (including one that looks like a toucan), but they all disappoint. Even longer-handled versions, some with a punch-style opener at one handle end & a bottle opener notch on the other, malfunction or break pretty quickly. Not these. They are so basic, so simple, they are resilient, reliable workhorses. My decades-old can opener is still in use & I'm actually kind of attached to it emotionally. But currently I am putting together an emergency preparedness bag & need a spare can opener to keep resident in it, so was very pleased to see these are still available, and on AMAZON!So, good price, arrived quickly, will last for decades (you can will them to your grandkids). Absolutely a GREAT BUY!
