I searched for hypoallergenic cooling blanket and everything that was written about this blanket sounded perfect. First thing I noticed after washing it and laying it on my bed that it shed, I though ok maybe because it is new, maybe it won't continue to shed. Then I noticed it barely covered the bed on the sides, maybe an inch, maybe two, overhang on the sides of the bed, but lots of overhang on the end. I went ahead and used it thinking the shedding would stop and we could deal with the short sides. Boy was I wrong, the shedding has increased to the point i was vacuuming every morning. And we are fighting over the blanket at night, each of us pulling to our side. Very Very disappointed, especially because of the price point.
