Setup was different, but not difficult. The computer starts up fast and the facial recognition is outstanding. From power on, I am ready to go in 15 seconds.I have had a problem registering the computer with HP. HP keeps telling me that the product number is invalid, even though the number I have used is the same number their software detects and the number I found in the BIOS and on the box. HP has several different ways to enter the registration process and at least two different processes. I have used both and one said the process was successful and they would send me a confirmation email. I never received the email, but I did get a screen copy of the success message. Last night a HP notification popped up offering to do a warranty check, and it told me the warranty expires February 4, 2025. That is awfully soon for a computer purchased November 15, 2024.Beyond this, the computer is exactly as represented. The screen is vivid, and I was immediately impressed. I do use an external monitor as my main screen. The monitor has a higher resolution than the laptop's screen, but so far, the computer will not allow me to use the monitor at that higher resolution. My prior, 3-year-old HP laptop did support the higher resolution. I am sure I can resolve this issue if I can ever find a way to speak to a live person at HP, but I just don't have time for that right now.Overall, I am a happy camper.

Bought this computer about 6 months ago and I can't get the company to talk to me in regards to a replacement. It has worked less than 10 times, EVER, and between the company, Asurion and HP they all just keep telling me to contact someone else in regards to the warranty. $1500 for a computer that I can't use, and that NOONE will help me return for another one. Don't wasted your time or money.

Purchased this HP Envy Business AI Laptop, 17.3" FHD Touchscreen, Intel Core Ultra 7 155H, 64GB DDR5 RAM, 4TB SSD, Numeric Keypad, HDMI, Webcam, Backlit Keyboard, Wi-Fi 7, Windows 11 Pro, Grey about a week ago.My previous laptop is also a 17” HP (Pavilion) with 16 GB RAM, 512 SSD, 2 TB HD storage running windows 10. Made this purchase because my 9-year-old Windows 10 laptop is soon to be not supported for security and software updates, and it is not on Microsoft’s list of supported equipment to expect a successful upgrade.A retired graphics teacher who does pro bono design work for non-profits, I am not the consummate full-time professional. I also made the leap from Adobe CS4 (yes! 14-year-old installed software!) to Adobe CC, and frankly very nervous about the learning curve I find myself on. A lot has changed in 9 years! Basically, I quadrupled the speed and storage while decreasing the size and weight of the laptop and still have a 17” touchscreen for less money than I spent 9 years ago!This new HP Envy was built and configured by Empowered PC, the people from whom I purchased. I also purchased a Samsung 2TB t7 portable SSD directly from Amazon to copy all my files from my Windows 10 laptop to transfer to my new Windows 11. I first contacted Empowered PC to affirm that they would perform any warranty service I may need, instead of HP. Vitaliy G. reaffirmed this to be true.Vitaliy also asked me if I had any other questions, which surprised me! And I indeed was having trouble getting my Samsung t7 PSSD to work between the Windows 10 & 11 platforms, mostly because I don’t do this kind of transfer often enough to remember how. Mind you, I did NOT purchase the PSSD from Empowered PC! That was purchased directly from Amazon. Vitaliy asked me to send screenshots of both laptops when in connected the PSSD to help diagnose my problem. My frustration after a few hours of trying to figure this out on my own and NOT destroy my data that took 6 hours to copy was extremely high! Frankly, I was overwhelmed. That Vitaliy was eager to help me beyond the scope of Empowered PC’s warranty commitment was a huge relief to me!Out of the office for a couple of days, Vitaliy got back to me apologizing for the delay. Meanwhile, the wave of relief Vitaliy provided with offer of support was enough for me to calm down and realize that the biggest change I experienced with the new PSSD was that it was password protected, which was a new concept for portable drives for me, and why it was not allowing me to see what I had stored on it. Duh! All I needed to do was install the t7’s software on my new laptop. It was not asking me to reformat and risk losing my data. Voilà! That worked!Now it’s about getting my new HP 8010e printer/scanner to scan using the document feeder on the Windows 10 and 11 laptops. Haven’t asked for Vitaliy’s help for that yet, but I know that I can, if I need.Long story, but worth telling for people like me that worry if they are up for the discomfort of new learning curves, and will the company they purchase from help them succeed at that?This much I know is true: Empowered PC is a trustworthy seller of fantastically upgraded equipment at exceptional prices who not only stand behind their own products, but support their customers, too. Ok, I really wanted to give 5 *'s and the only gripe I have is the battery doesn't last as long as they advertised. The charging time is fast so I guess that is a plus. Set up was quick and flawless. Screen is clear and bright and easy to see / read. Backlit keyboard is a big plus for me. I got the 4T drive and won't have to worry about space. The AI part is something I'll have to learn but that shouldn't be too hard.Very quick to load and be ready, about 15 seconds! WiFi works extremely well and is quick. One thing I don't like, is when I type I keep hitting the mouse pad which is quite large. I have a wireless mouse installed and would have thought the keyboard mouse pad would be disabled but it's not or I haven't found that yet.Overall, slim and light weight and I would buy again. I didn't register with HP as from what I've been reading, the warranty is virtually non-existant.

I bought one first which I has to return it. Mouse was slow. Definitely had some issues. My 2nd purchase amazing. SUPER FAST LAPTOP. Incredible performance. I love it. Image so clear. And great price!!!!!!

For the short time I have had it, it has met expectations. The only laptop problem was a sticking space bar. My old unit was a dual drive that gave windows 11 a problem not the laptop. I have used the wifi, Bluetooth, camera, mirrored to my LG tv and iPad and everything worked. Hope I can say the same three years from now but right now 5 stars.
