First off, this is a great little camera. Pictures are super crisp and clear and it's very compact. Build wise, it's plastic like all of the others but for some reason this one seems to be sturdier. I cut the grass shortly after installing it and it followed me around the yard and kept me centered in the frame the whole time. What sets this camera apart from the others that i've tried though is that this one doesn't try and ram you with the Cloud service everytime you use it. I prefer everything be stored locally on a flash card and this does it with no issues. Once you opt out once, it doesn't keep asking which is a huge bonus in my book. The biggest con for this little camera is that the mount is clearly designed for wall mounting only. The others that i've tested offer a solution for ceiling (eve) mounting but not this one. I had to come up with a contraption to make it work. If you are looking for a wall mounted ptz that does a really good job, this is an excellent choice. If you want a ceiling or eve mounted solution, you may want to look elsewhere.

I hadn't seen a security cam of this type with an attached ethernet connector in a while, but upon further thought it would seem that this would come in handy in a business or home security installation where the vagaries of a wifi connection might be troublesome. The camera does, indeed, come with the traditional wifi connectivity with simple setup as well as the usual dedicated app for your phone. The picture is quite good, as per usual with most web cams these days. The price point is also very affordable.What's really cool is that this model has both 2.4g and 5g wifi connectivity rather than just 2.4 as with most of the wifi cameras I've seen out there. All of my other cams are 2.4g except for this one.This cam is also moisture protected so that it can be used as an outside surveillance tool. The video zoom feature can come in handy when trying to get more information while monitoring.I'm pretty happy with this new camera - I only wish that there were a a universal app for these camsrather than so many proprietary ones. I must have 6 different camera apps on My phone now!All in all, I like this camera and it fits my needs so I can recommend it.

This is the most overly complicated camera I have ever had.First, no ONVIF support.Second, no browser support of any kind.The ONLY way to use/manage this device is with their app.First, it tries to get you to sign up.Second, it needs wifi on, bluetooth and location just to get the app to attempt to setup the camera.Even plugged into the router with ethernet, it will pull an IP, but you can't access via a browser.The app took several tries, complained of needing 2.4, even though it advertises as 5g capable.After several resets and attempts, it finally connected.The biggest problem with this, is there are no settings for security of any kind.No option to set or change a password, as it never asked for anything, and there are no options to even have one.MY router logs started blowing up too, so not sure why it felt the need to start phoning home information.If you don't care about ease of use, security, or using anything to monitor it but a single app requiring sign up, then you may like this.Otherwise steer clear and look elsewhere.Return has been initiated for this item.

I was amazed at how simple it was to get this camera up and running—just a few minutes and it was all set! The video quality is excellent, and the notifications are prompt and accurate. The peace of mind it provides is priceless—I can monitor everything with ease, knowing that my home is protected.

This outdoor security camera was easy to install. The video/photo quality is great. App connection was simple and didn't give me any issues.

We have several other cameras around the house and still have a few more areas that we want to monitor. The setup of this camera was considerably easier than another brand that we have for the initial setup anyways. This little guy has 2 way communication, a siren, a "spot light", motion tracking as well as a few other notable functions. The tracking works pretty well as long as the object isn't moving too fast and will pause on occasion but hopefully future updates to the firmware will help that. You can control everything from your phone and my wife has been thoroughly enjoying checking in on the pets. All of our other cams are exterior and she wanted something for the inside of the house. My only wish is that it was battery operated so I could install it outside without running power for the USBC cable. It does have an additional cable to hard wire if you choose which would work well for small businesses that have easy access to the ceiling. Overall very impressed with the quality of video and sound coming from this Veezoom security camera and the night time video is nice too!
