Does a great job keeping up with our ice consumption. Plumbing it into our water line was easy and makes it way easier than having to put water bottles on it. It pumps out ice very quickly, even at the thickest setting. My only suggestion would be to get a metal scoop as the plastic one feels like it may break when chopping up the thickest cubes.

The ice maker was first delivered with hidden shipper damage and was returned easily for credit. Replacement was ordered and received in good condition. Easy to install and get going. Dumps 55 full sized cubes every 11 minutes until bin is sensed full. Stainless steel exterior has a polished finish so don't expect it to match modern satin finished SS appliances. Installed mine in a storage room so finish is not an issue. Great icemaker for the delivered sale price ($424), but when emptying a completely full holding bin I am lucky to fill just over two 10-pound size ice bags. For the price, I'm not concerned and am very happy with it's first 2 week performance.

Machine sets up great, functions great, installed myself, got the cube size dialed in that I wanted.That being said, I ran multiple cleaning cycles before making ice (as instructed), then I made multiple full bins of ice. I cannot get rid of this very bad plastic/chemical taste. I cannot tell if it’s coming from the machine or possibly the filter, but people can’t drink this.I’m running like 10 more cleaning cycles right now and will report back. I’ve got to get rid of this taste or I won’t be able to use the machine.My only other gripe would be that the design of the door could be better and allow more room to access the ice and bin.
