We have a lot of lime in our well water. It makes the water taste good, but it clogs the pipes. CLR dissolves the lime in minutes. You can see it working. When the water comes out in a slow stream from my kitchen sink, I know it's time to CLR it. I use an old toothbrush with it. I let the faucet head set in the CLR for the recommended two minutes that scrub with the toothbrush to get all the loose bits of lime. I tried the spray version of CLR, but it didn't work as well as the original.

I have used this product many times, it works as it should. Just follow the instructions on the back of the bottle, failure to do so results in a poor outcome.

I used CLR to clean my shower head. I soaked the shower head and hose in water with a 1-1 ratio of water and CLR. It works. It was interesting to see all the floaties (mineral deposits?) in the water. I did soak it for longer than directed on the bottle. Ive been battling itchy skin and I'm hoping cleaning the shower head will help. So far so good. I removed a star only because I feel the bottle is kind of small considering you need to use a 1-1 ratio with the water. I thought it would be bigger.

You have to use it on dry surfaces. I have not figured out how to drain my toilet bowl to use it.
