SYLVANIA2825 T10 W5W LED White Mini Bulb - Bright LED Bulb, Ideal for Interior Lighting - Map, Dome, Cargo and License Plate (Contains 2 Bulbs)

Ordered two of these (total 4 bulbs). One set for the inside dome light and one set for the rear license plate. Easy to install, great value, nice bright white color. Put the old, original bulbs in my toolbox in the trunk just in case I should ever need a spare. Now the back seat lights up fantastic as does my license plate. I just wish I had thought to take a picture of before with the factory bulbs for comparison. Oh well, it is what it is. Attached pictures of afterwards.There is one caveat: these bulbs are polarity specific so if you plug them in and they don't light up, don't fret. Just pop it out, reverse the prongs, plug it back in and it should work. (I actually had one do that.) There you go. Easy peasy.

My son got these for our 2012 Honda Odyssey and they work like a charm! Much cheaper than Auto Zone and our lights look like a new car. Not too bright?m, but helps so much when getting in with the dark. Highly recommend!

It was the exact size and shape of the OEM halogen bulb in the map light fixture which was removed and updated.The brightness is much better and it seems to make the interior more convenient to find things, especially in the dark.Hopefully, it will last as long as the OEM bulb which was over five years. Would highly recommend it over halogen bulbs any day.

Great replacement for the factory incandescent bulbs.

For Gen 3 Prius rear license plate bulbs, LEDs are recommended to solve bulb socket overheating from incandescent bulbs. Packaging is labeled "for off-road use only". Bulbs are easy to install with two caveats: First, my old bulb in the overheated socket was a bit hard to remove. I ended up picking it out with an awl - this worked well. Second: incandescent bulbs are not sensitive to polarity but LED bulbs are. It is possible to plug them in reversed. If the bulb does not light, try reversing polarity. This worked AOK for me. Each LED uses 0.5 Watts and gives off bright, cool illumination. Should last for the rest of the car's life. I am happy. I recommend viewing an instructional video before changing out the bulbs - it really is easy and simple once you know how...

Fit perfectly and worked. Only issue is my car didn't recognize that they were installed and would still show a light bulb warning. I have a 2017 VW GTI. I ended up getting normal bulbs so the warning light would go away, but these worked great.

I think it's a good a light for the trunk, and as a plate light

Purchased these on amazon for the same price as an incandescent pair in the big box store. Nice white, bright light. Hoping these are cooler, because I noticed discoloration of the connector due to the heat of the incandescent I used to have. Installation instructions are a little vague, though... Diodes are directional, but the connector does not indicate which way to install, so you are supposed to install, see if the light comes on, uninstall and flip over to reinstall and check again... (Actually is written that way on the package). Holding off on longevity for a while since I JUST installed them.
