Fantastic battery life, and immune from Windows 11
I bought this primarily to try out Windows 10 on ARM as well as do testing and software development for it, and I've come to really enjoy using it as a personal device. With its Snapdragon 835 processor, you don't get any hardware virtualization support, but you do get excellent battery life, so long as you never turn the device off. For some reason turning it completely off causes the battery to drain rapidly, so just leave it on and let it sleep to get the best battery life.Additionally, Microsoft decided not to support the Snapdragon 835 for Windows 11, so this device is stuck on Windows 10 - that's a good thing in my opinion. Of course, this means you can't run 64-bit x86 apps, but you can still run 32-bit x86 apps, 32-bit ARM apps, and 64-bit ARM apps. Many apps are already getting native ARM64 versions, including Edge, Firefox, Paint Dot Net, OneDrive, and more. Just be aware that while ARM64 apps will work, ARM64EC apps will not as they require Windows 11's 64-bit x86 support. There aren't many games that have ARM64 versions yet, but the ones that do exist work fine in my experience, and 32-bit x86 games also work fine. Just be aware that only DirectX 11 and 12 (and a limited subset of OpenGL) are supported, you won't be able to play games that require Vulkan, and some games may refuse to launch due to disliking the Snapdragon 835's GPU, but in my experience most games I've been interested in have worked fine. I definitely wouldn't recommend this device for gaming though as it only has 4 GB of RAM and the Xbox app isn't compatible.I enjoy using the touch screen, though I don't use the pen much. The pen battery is a AAAA which I didn't even know existed, but I only had to replace it recently after it lasted for years. The included keyboard misses keystrokes sometimes, but it doesn't bother me much. The included stand is really nice as it allows you to adjust the angle in laptop mode. I don't use tablet mode much but it works fine in my experience. The audio jack works fine, though normally I use bluetooth audio. It would be nice to have more than one USB-C port, but if you get a proper USB-C hub you can still power/charge the device while connecting other things too. The one that works for the M1 MacBook pro doesn't pass through enough power to charge this device though, but Lenovo does sell one that does.I tried the Lenovo Vantage app once, it seems rather scummy, just uninstall it - it's not hard to get back if you ever need it. There's no more firmware updates anyway as this device is out of support. It runs the latest version of Windows 10 just fine and that's that. You can uninstall apps to your liking and keep the OS clean without any trouble.I installed a SIM card for mobile data from Ting and that works just fine whenever power goes out and I don't have wi-fi. I really like this feature personally, gives me peace of mind.It comes initially with Windows 10 in S mode, but you can leave S mode for free and get full Windows 10 Pro easily. It's impressive to see full fat Windows 10 Pro running so well on a RISC-based processor, and I'm immensely happy with my purchase. It can run WSL1 as well, but not WSL2 due to the lack of hardware virtualization support. Still, this means easy access to ARM-based Linux distributions. I haven't tried booting Linux on it yet, but MemTest86 has an ARM64 version and it boots and runs just fine.If you just want to try Windows 10 or 11 on ARM for cheap, you can get the Microsoft QC710 developer kit which comes with a less powerful Snapdragon 7c and 4 GB RAM, but you can upgrade it from Windows 10 to 11 if you want. If you want some more powerful Windows on ARM hardware, you can check out the Lenovo ThinkPad X13s, which can have up to 32 GB of RAM with its Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 processor. I think this Lenovo Miix 630 is a pretty decent middle ground though, certainly worth the price in my opinion. Shame they discontinued it so quickly.

Disappointed. Bad Product. Bad Experience.
This is a really slow tablet/laptop. It looks nice outside, but performance is not good. I only used it for 3 hours and then I returned it. By the way...Vendor charged me $100 restocking fee...Very bad experience!.

I liked it.
With the new windows update, this computer was excellent. The battery life was incredible, almost 14 hours running windows pro. The touchscreen was accurate, and the pen was super accurate with no lag. The LTE connection was solid, in my area I was consistently getting 120 mbps on verizon. With the newest update to windows, chrome worked flawlessly, as did firefox. My only complaint was I could not get office to activate. Despite having an office 365 subscription, it kept telling me that my "trial has expired." I think that could be because I downloaded and installed the version from the web instead of using the built in office (which I uninstalled).I would absolutely recommend this laptop, mine just had that weird error that I couldn't get fixed.

Exceeds Student's Expectations
I purchased this over 6 months ago, and felt like I should leave a review. Especially after going into this with low expectations due to the reviews. The Miix 630 has everything I was looking for as a student and for someone who likes to binge watch TV on the weekend. All I was shopping for was something light to carry around, hand drawn notes capable and at the very least able to run a web browser with a lot of tabs running with word and one note. The Lenovo Miix 630 met all of that and, I'm pleased to say, a little more.I am not a very patient person, so the requirement of having a fast device is very important to me. With the Lenovo Miix I've never felt an impatient moment.Being able to use OneNote in class has saved my GPA. I'm able to put it in a split screen with OneNote and my web browser to follow the PowerPoint, reference the textbook and then take notes from lecture. It's amazing. Can't imagine trying to go to class without my little Lenevo.I've never had a tablet like this to compare the battery life to, but it works for me. A full charge will get me through my 5 hours of classes, and then I want to say I still have another 2 hours est on the battery, but I always plug it back in after classes. I have however maxed out the battery binge watching 6 hours of Netflix at full brightness.A couple negative things I have noticed are the terrible face recognition login security and the display brightness does dim and brighten even with the adaptive settings turned off. Which is really annoying when watching a movie.Disclaimer: I use explorer and did not download chrome due to its large size and the way it takes up all the ram and battery life with its extensions and background programs. I also did not download more than 4 apps from the microsoft store. I have been very careful with how the RAM is used and memory, because like I said before I can not deal with lag.Hope this helps someone!
