We got these and immediately installed them on our shower curtain. They slide wonderfully and don't make nearly as much noise as the old ones we had. Kind of amazing how much easier it is to open and close the shower curtain. I know that sounds silly but it's really nice.That being said, when we received the product one of the rings was broken. I emailed the seller and almost instantly received a response. A couple days later we received three replacement rings in the mail. No fuss, no muss. Great support and great product. Five stars.

I don't know what's going on here but I'm confused by all the 5-star reviews when this product is horrible. Let me explain.1) There is a reason that shower rings are made in an exclamation point shape: it keeps them from flipping and rotating upside down. These oval rings rotate upside down the first time you move the shower curtain. They flip upside down and the roller balls are on the bottom, which means the rings are scratching up and destroying the finish of the shower rod.2) The closure is very cheap and flimsy. It is not a strong closure and it does not "push and move it around the back" type of closure. It is tiny wire that has a hook shape on each end so that the ends slide over each other. Because the wire is so small, there is no pressure to keep them pressed together. So, literally the first time I moved the curtain at all, several of the rings closures opened up and fell off the rod. I assumed we didn't close them properly or something like that. So we put them back on and carefully made sure they were closed. We barely moved the curtain and it happened again. We tried to put just a little pressure to bend the metal ring halves toward each other to try to give it more pressure and reconnected them: It didn't help at all.3) The finish is nice, however, and because it has become difficult to find an oil rubbed bronze finish I was pleased with that.The result is that these rings will not stay on the rod, and if they do stay on the rod they flip upside down and scrape the shower curtain rod finish.These rings are so bad that I have to wonder if there is some sort of manipulation of customer reviews. If possible, I would return them. Be warned!

I got rid of the plastic rings I had bought just a few months ago as they would drag and stick...and sliding the shower curtain wasn't exactly effortless. Finally got sick of wrestling with the curtain and looked for something attractive and easy gliding. These rings are perfect! A couple of them fell apart in less than a week. I write "fell apart" because they have tiny, machine- pressed button hinges and while they didn't "break," once they come apart, they don't stay together. However, this 5-Star Amazon Seller didn't hesitate to send me replacements at no charge. OUTSTANDING customer support and the best things about these rings are they're FAST & EASY TO INSTALL, they're ATTRACTIVE, and they provide SUPER SMOOTH ROLLING ACTION with the shower curtain. These shower curtain rings have already started to rust after less than 2 months despite being advertised as rust resistant. Not a high quality product unfortunately

These are strong for my application and slide effortlessly. I am using them for supporting a 19' x 10' shade cloth on my camper shed and they take the weight and do not open up. I tried standard shower rings that didn't perform nearly as well. I'm happy, yes indeed.Update.....just experienced the first cold front of this season and the winds were whipping. The lower 3/4" pipe assembly on the left came apart but only one of the rings broke. That says a lot about the rings. The pipe is fixed without the construction flaw.

I ordered these because they are lightweight, thinking they would be easier to open with my arthritic fingers, so I opened and closed each hook right away when they arrived to see whether they worked for me. But - surprise! - 2 of the 12 broke right apart at the hinge on the first try. Good old Amazon though - immediately returned the price to my account, so I now am trying a heavier version of the same style hook and hope I can open it.

When we pull the shower curtain closed usually two or three of these open up. Sometimes they will stay hanging on the rod but most of the time they fall into the shower floor. I recently got a extra long shower curtain so this means after I get a shower I have to get a step ladder out and fasten it back into place. It’s so aggravating. My curtain only had 11 holes so I put two rings in the first hole to try to make it more sturdy but it just doesn’t work. I thought about gluing them closed. But my rod is a curved rod and the ends are so big they can’t slide off the ends. So that isn’t an option either. Some are tight and seem to be working well. But it’s just more trouble than it’s worth. I’m shopping for others today.

I waited a bit to make a review for these because I wanted to be sure that they didn’t start rusting. Happy to say that they do not! Very easy to install. (if you want to call it that since you’re just putting them on your shower rod) Attaching shower curtain on these was easy and what’s even better is that they won’t be coming off when you open and close the shower curtain like other hook on type! Bonus!

The product claims to be 100% rust proof. It should say 100% chance of rusting. Less than 6 months old and they will need to be replaced by something else. Don't waste your money and look elsewhere.
