BLUF: I don't normally write reviews but this one is long overdue. I've put this off for months because I knew my review would be rather lengthy and wanted to do this company justice. I will begin by saying that I have purchased 4 of these blankets (the 25lb version) and would recommend them to anyone looking for better quality sleep. The blanket is so soft but the weight of it is where the real magic happens. It feels like a full body, gentle hug that keeps you cozy all night long. It's simply amazing, I wish I had better words to describe it. I also want to point out that the company is truly amazing as well. I had an issue with one of the covers and they immediately shipped me a replacement minky cover at no cost and more importantly, no hassle. They have excellent customer service, no question.Here's my story (the extended version)...By complete accident, I happened upon some research discussing the therapeutic benefits of weighted blankets. After extensive research and combing over hundreds of reviews and dozens of brands and versions, I decided on this one (largely based on the reviews I read here). I bought the 1st one hoping it could help my bf with his sleep problems (he's a veteran with PTSD). When I got it, I laid it out on the bed and decided to try it out myself since he was out of town (I couldn't resist). To my complete surprise, I fell asleep much faster than I normally do (I usually take Ambien bc I have trouble falling asleep). I was amazed but couldn't wait for him to try it.Well the next night he did. He fell asleep in about 5 minutes, he slept soundly without tossing and turning constantly, his restless legs were calm and still, but most importantly, he slept throughout the night. The next morning, he couldn't stop talking about his new magic blanket. He was hooked. We gave it a few days just to make sure it wasn't a fluke and ordered one for me. He still can’t believe how much it’s helped his sleep, to this day he brags about this godsend and tells me on a fairly regular basis, how much he loves his blanket.So...a little bit later, he suggested getting one for my papa (my grandfather). As a Vietnam Vet, he also suffers from sleep disturbances. My bf talked to him (for at least half an hour) about how much it helped him from the very 1st night. Needless to say, we ordered him one and also ordered one for my nana. After seeing that they had received it (he had me checking the tracking info constantly), he had me call them to see how they liked it. Unfortunately, they hadn't taken it out of the box. They were busy bees and just hadn't gotten around to it. Needless to say, he was so disappointed. After a couple of days, and constant nudges from the both of us, they finally set them up and got to experience the pure sleep bliss for themselves. The next morning I received a text from my papa and he was over the moon about it. He told me he just couldn't believe that a blanket could help his sleep as much as it did. When I text him back, he immediately called to talk to me about it. Later I spoke with my nana and she loved how the weight helped relax her muscles. She said it felt like all the muscles in her body just melted. She also noticed a difference in his sleep as well.I know this was long, but I really wanted to explain to people who may be on the fence that you will not regret getting one of these blankets. We purchased 4 of them and would do it again in a heartbeat. If you’re going to get one, you can’t go wrong with this blanket and this company. I purchased this blanket in Jan, 2020 after doing MONTHS of research on weighted blankets. I wanted to wait a while and try it out first in order to give it a proper review. I wanted this blanket to help with my racing thoughts at night, my ADD, and my anxiety. And this blanket has been a blessing, complete life saver, and has tremendously improved my quality of sleep. It also actually helped with my BFRB (body focused repetitive behaviors) which is AMAZING! This blanket completely matches the description and worth every penny of the cost. The quality is great in both the blanket and the cover. I love how soft the mink cover is and I absolutely love the aqua color! The blanket itself is awesome because the beads don’t shift or slide into the other squares (as my last one did). Also the entire blanket itself doesn’t slide inside the cover because of the ties (maybe just a little at the top where it gets folded by yours arm or what not, but NOTHING worth fretting over, TRUST ME I have OCD)! I also like the fact that it holds my sheet in place and I’m no longer getting twisted and tangled in those (which idk about everyone else but that drives me absolutely nuts). It is actually very breathable but I sweat a lot all day long and even more so at night, so I wish I could give a better review as to whether it iwould make you sweat or not but I don’t think so because it doesn’t hold heat and is cool to the touch so I think the average person would be just fine. I bought the 60 by 80, 15 lbs for a queen bed and I think it’s perfect so it doesn’t fall on the sides at all and you wouldn’t have to pull the weight with your shoulders (however I sleep alone, so for 2 people I would think you would want a larger one). I weigh 160 pounds and as much as I love this blanket, I do wish that I got the 20lbs. But it kind of worked out perfectly because I have a really puffy light weight feather blanket that I still use on top because I’ve come to learn that I have to have the puffiness for some reason or it just doesn’t feel right, like a security thing I guess. DO NOT waste your money on any weighted blanket that cost less than $80, they are junk! This was the perfect price for EXACTLY what I wanted and expected and I couldn’t be anymore satisfied. This weighted blanket has helped so much with anxiety and that alone feeling you can get sometimes, the material is very nice and soft and the weight feels just right, look no further if you are interested in a weighted blanket!

Soft, well made, good distribution of weight throughout blanket, outer duvet cover zips off for washing (cold water, delicate cycle, hang dry). Original product had a strong chemical odour when I received it, however I contacted the manufacturer and was immediately issued a replacement. No other reviews mention a smell so I think possibly the issue was with storage or the seller. Resolved quickly.

I have wanted a weighted blanket for ages and initially bought one from another seller without cover which was OK but I was concerned about having to clean it if something got spilled on it. Tried to find a cover for it but they were expensive on their own so I decided to buy one with cover.....generally found that blanket with covers were also quite pricey until I found this one. I am SO happy with this purchase! The cover is ridiculously soft and snuggly and the weight is perfect! I sleep so much better with this and will probably buy another smaller one to use on the sofa. It takes a bit of getting used to but if you share a bed with a duvet hog, get one of these! I also suffer from night sweats but despite the weight & material of this blanket, I don't seem to have that problem anymore! Best purchase of 2022!
