Only just received these hence the lack of durability rating, they do appear to be durable however.Happily my DH has managed to grow a lot of potatoes so we realised we would need the correct storage for them. Up to yet they have certainly done the job and I can't really see them not keeping up.What's not to like? They're big, we can store our root veg, we got them quickly at a price that was great

These were purhased for storing the yarn I need a lot of for my charity projects and cardboard boxes are for recycling not for storage - these bags are useful and sturdy and will likely last beyond my own life the advantage for yarn storage is that you can just glimpse - roughly - the colour inside - ugly little paper labels becaome unnecessary No matter what you want to store safely and securely - so long as the thing is not living - there is no better storage facility

Good sack suitable to store our garden produce especially potatoes and onions.It would be helpful to know if there was a smaller size available also. I couldn’t find any at the time.

Excellent, VFM sacks of high quality. Quite large so some of them we were able to cutintwo and stitch up to allow storage of smaller quantities of potatoes

Excellent quality, well packaged. Bought these for a friend who wanted them to use for composting grass cuttings. Her gardener was impressed with quality for the price and assured my friend that they will do the job perfectly. A+++

These sacks are very open weave, not suitable for storing potatoes as too much light will get through, thought about using 2 or 3, but still too much light gets through. We will use for onions, carrots etc as they are very breathable. We were hoping for a weave like a shopping bag. Not sure if the other reviewers have the same bags, as these will tear easily, so don't expect to last more than one season, I would say 15kg of product will be ok, but not much more otherwise the weave starts to break open. To help, the "string" is about 1mm diameter, and the distance between strands measuring 20 strands gives 90mm, therefore 4.5mm each, giving 3.5mm square gaps. We were looking for a closed weave for potatoes.

I'm loving these. Much better for storing my potatoes than the paper sacks I used to use. If a potato goes bad in one of these I can wash the bag instead of having to through out a paper sack. I expect these will last me for years.

Robuste Qualität und genau dafür geeignet wofür es gemacht wurde. Die Säcke sind haltbar und man kann die unterschiedlichsten Dinge darin aufbewahren.

Köpte dessa jutesäckar för att lagra min egen odlade potatis i källaren och de fungerar bra. Är inte för tätt vävda och kan släppa igenom luft så potatisen inte möglar. Som med all potatis som ska förvaras under längre tid, så ska de inte tvättas innan man lagrar dem i jutesäckar eller hur man nu väljer att lagra dem. Utan de ska enbart torka så att skinnen på potatisen blir starkare och sen ner i säckarna. Jag har hängt dessa i takbalkarna i källaren som alltid håller ca. 14+ grader Celsius. Jag ser fram emot våren, för att se hur de hållit upp under vinterhalvåret. Uppdaterar då.

Le nombre de sacs dans le lot - la qualité est au rendez vous, seul l’angle de l’un des sacs n'était pas bien cousu. Ou peut être que la couture n’était pas arrêtée. Très satisfaite .. mais en effet suggèrent aussi bien une course en sac..
