Great until it breaks
I ordered this controller back in June. The build quality is excellent. It appears to be made of high-quality plastics, and for me, the button placement is good as well. My glove size, in U.S. dimensions is the smallest XL - size 11. I find the button placement to be near-perfect.I ordered this because, as versatile as the Switch controllers are, they are not optimized for 2D fighting games (Street Fighter Anniversary Collection, to be more specific). It will take some time to "break in" the controller, for quarter-circles, and all those other movements that video game fighters are accustomed to.What I really liked beyond that, is it makes a good controller for PC use as well. I have played through several games on Steam, and the controller instantly recognizes the game and works with Steam to match the default settings that it provides. I have played through UnderTale, and AVGN Adventure II using this controller. It was a trooper all the way through. As much as I enjoyed using this device, it stopped working after two weeks of use. I am not sure what happened. It was plugged into the Switch when it stopped working - that I know. It could have been an update through the Switch, that recognized a foreign device, or something else.Fortunately, the site itself offers firmware updates through the PC. Though I contacted customer support via email, I could not fix the device through firmware. So, they simply asked me for address, and shipped me a new one, which arrived within four days.It is working without any issues. Customer support was great, and friendly. Third party controllers are always going to have some issues. I learned this from when I purchased third-party SNES controllers way back in the 90's. (I am old.) Cheaper controllers are generally a gamble, but this company replaced my device with little hassle.Edit: Replacement controller broke. Customer support is great but I can no longer recommend after two malfunctions.

Ok while it lasts.
The controller itself is ok. It's pleasant to hold, buttons feel responsive and you can play a decent amount of time before the battery runs out. The only negative about the controller itself is the squeaky sound of the thumb sticks. However, just after two months, it completely stopped working. I was playing, left the house to go get some groceries and when coming back the unit was completely dead. When I opened it up to investigate I smelled that distinct smell of fried electronics. I didn't even bother to get my multi meter.I do like the controller itself so I'll give it two stars, but I'm not to pleased with only two months of usage.

A good, cost-effective alternative, with a few small hiccups
This controller works very well so long as you can get past the PlayStation style joystick set up. I've had this for about 6 months and did the software update check before ever pairing it to my system. Why 4 stars? You cannot wake up your system with this controller, your system must be awoken using either the button on the system or a joycon, and then this controller is paired to the system using the 2 button combination in the instructions. Also, on a rare occasion, this controller send to continue to send a weak directional signal to the system even when the right joystick is released. If you encounter this, it's easiest to re-pair your controller

Bought 2 in May. Both don't work now, just over 30 days. One doesn't even turn on, the other has stuck buttons.Update: DinoFire-Direct reached out to me and sent me a firmware update to perform. It actually fixed the issue on both my controllers. I'm happy with the service. The controllers are good, the joysticks could be a bit more ergonomic (they seam to stick up a bit too high and are located in the not so comfortable reach)

Had issues, but customer service are true super stars
Originally purchased the controller for my daughter who wanted a pro controller for her birthday, iffy on spending $60 on a controller for a 15 year old I went with a more affordable option. Got it over a month in advance, and it sat in my closest til the big day, and when it came she was excited, we went to get it all going and nothing. It had been well past the 30 day return limit, well over 60 days in fact, but I contacted dynofire costumer service (the seller I purchased from) willing to pay to have it fixed and they offered a cash refund or a new controller no questions , and no returns. The new controller arrived, works great, no complaints. Guess if anything I wish it would wake the system up like the joycons do, but other wise, great alternative to the pro controller (nintendo brand) at a third of the price.

Decent controller, but too much lag time in response
The buttons and joysticks are decent, but there is too much lag in the response time. For the price, it's not bad, but don't expect this to be of much help in first person shooter games where timing and reflexes are very important.

Didn't work
It did not pair to the switch at all. we tried multiple times and still nothing. I had it too long to return because I thought it just needs to charge longer and we would eventually get it paired. it never did and it was a waste of money. I eventually had to buy a different one and it worked fine.

A cross between a PS4 and Xbox controller.
I needed a another controller for my Switch so we wouldn't be forced to use one side of a joy con (they're quite small in my hands) while playing Mario Kart with all my cousins. I picked up this one. It has a similar shape to an Xbox controller yet the analog sticks are layed out like a PS4's. The controller paired easily and is now working as expected. A good cheap alternative to a switch pro controller.
