Beautiful lampshade, wonderful quality! I had found a retro "amber glass teardrop" lamp at our local charity store for a low price. This lampshade brings out the beauty of the amber glass, and makes me so happy! The soft beige color looks elegant in the daytime -- and really shines at night, when it imparts a cozy glow to my whole living room. I was amazed and delighted by the careful packing job, the box arriving in perfect condition to my address in a remote mountain town. Would work perfectly in both eclectic and traditional rooms.

I have 2 large crystal table lamps that needed new shades. This shade is superbly crafted and enhances my lamp to the max. I love the fact that it is lined and the ribbing down the slant plus the scalloped edges really make my lamp look so classy.

I chose this lampshade because it had the style I needed for an old boudoir lamp. However, when I received it, I was truly impressed by the quality of the materials and construction. It went way beyond what I had expected: lovely silk, neatly applied trim, and elegant white lining. The careful finish work and heft give it a feel of richness. I purchased this shade to fit on an early 20th Century cast iron lamp that is small and ornate. This was the 6th lamp shade that I purchased for this lamp. This shade is of exceptional quality and has the appearance of a luxury product and is exceptionally well crafted. It is very solid and very tight in construction. The lining, and the space between the lining and the exterior adds an additional element of dimension to the light. Perfect shade!

I was looking for a replacement shade and was surprised at the quality of the fabric and workmanship on this shade. Unfortunately, the size did not work out for me but I would NOT hesitate ordering this for another lamp that it might fit on in the future. You won't be disappointed.
