Recommended to me by my physical therapist. He leaves it on all day everyday and so now I have one and love it! I have very bad arthritis in my hands and was told it will only get worse as I get older. This is such a great relief for the pain. My new occupational therapist uses it for me also and was thrilled that I owned one.

I thought there was something wrong with me and my peeling skin on my hand living in Tucson,AZ in the desert...until I went to Amsterdam where it rained almost all the time and my hands immediately stopped peeling around the cuticles. Got home and bought this incredible unit with the mits for hands and feet and plastic liner to use as well. Also bought a jar of highly recommended inVitamin pharmaceutical grade Lanolin to use on skin before the wax treatment. Yes, the wax is hot. I dip quickly, small portions of hands and feet. I have big feet and they fit in the unit one at a time. THe cover has a good fit but don't leave around kids as they are intrigued and love how the wax feels. The Lanolin is perfect between treatments. THanks to the gentleman who posted to use the Lanolin---this is an old time remedy for damaged hands---works better than the probable hundreds of dollars over the years of products that just didn't work as well as good old Lanolin and this one smells not at all!

Great product. I tried the Parabath at my therapists and at her recommendation ordered one for home use.The entire family has enjoyed the warm sensation when used.

This parafin bath unit is the same as that used in certified hand therapy clinics. Reliability and temperature constancy are highly commendable. I leave the unit "on" for weeks at at time. Temperature holds steady at 126 degrees F. That said, I still think the unit should have a clear-read thermometer and power switch on the body of the unit. I periodically use a cooking thermometer to check temp, otherwise I would give the unit a perfect 5 stars.

Very disappointed with the quality. It keeps a rim of solid paraffin around the surface.

THERE IS NO WAY TO EXPRESS HOW MUCH DISAPPOINTMENT ONE FEELS AFTER PAYING CLOSE TO $300.00 FOR AN ITEM THAT BOAST ABOUT ITS QUALITY AND RELIABILITY COMPARED TO EVERYTHING ELSE OUT THERE ; AND AFTER GOING OUT ON A LIMB FOR IT TO BE COMPLETELY USELESS AFTER 8 USES. I PURCHASED OCT 30TH 2018 IT STOPPED WORKING TODAY NOVEMBER 30 2018 AND GUESS WHAT THE RETURN WINDOW ENDED YESTERDAY NOVEMBER 29TH. I'M SURE A HIGH END CROCKPOT CAN DO A BETTER JOB FOR WAY LESS MONEY:-(

My daughter has arthritis in her hands. She uses hot wax and immerses her hands in the wax and then into the hand covers. Works well. She says it relieves some of the arthritis pain.Delivered on time and as presented.

These mittens have assisted in retaining heat during the "hot wax" treatments. One more item to assist in keeping the hands subtle.
