Very impressed and very happy with the purchase!
I bought Anker 30W Charger for $23.99 in white color from AnkerDirect on June 1, 2019. Although the cube-ish design and the non-folding plug make the charger slightly annoying, I am extremely happy with this purchase.USB Power Delivery is quite possibly the best thing that has happened to USB, and I love that I can use this one tiny charger to charge pretty much all my devices (Apple devices, Android phones, Dell laptops, etc.). 30 watts really is not that much when charging bigger devices like laptops, but it still gives you sufficient juice to charge your laptop battery while using your laptop for light tasks like web browsing.I never thought I would be so excited by something like a charging brick. Maybe it is because I travel all the time, but this little charger is super awesome. Yes, it charges slower than my 90W Dell charger, but this is significantly smaller, significantly lighter, and significantly more versatile. I am extremely happy with this purchase and would recommend this charger to anybody.

Much smaller than an iPad charger, yet charges my phone and iPad Pro incredibly fast!
I was surprised to see how small the charger actually is when I received it. I was even more surprised to see just how fast it charges my iPhone X and iPad Pro! It’s much smaller than an iPad charger, and just a tad bigger than the standard iPhone charger that seems to take a million years to charge now! The build quality is OEM quality, feeling slightly more solid than the Apple chargers, plus I really like the matte finish because it won’t show scratches and smudges nearly as easily as the Apple chargers. One thing I find hillarious is all the people complaining that the prongs don’t fold... Seriously? The charger is SMALLER than the iPad charger and in the same ballpark as the standard iPhone charger, yet the iPhone charger doesn’t have folding prongs and nobody seems to mind. Anker comes along and makes a charger that can literally charge your Mac, iPhone, and iPad in the nearly the same size as the fixed-prong iPhone charger and people complain about it!?!? Do people realize that making the prongs fold would make it bigger, thus defeating the purpose??? I guess some people complain just to complain.Anyway, I highly recommend this charger because it’s made my job much easier and more productive since my work depends 100% on my phone and iPad being functional. If either my phone or iPad stop working, I can’t work. So the faster I can charge my equipment, the faster I can get to work!

What Exactly Is So Bad About It
To be honest, I see a whole variety of reviews for this baby charging port, and I’m confused why. At least for the product that I received, I found no technical issues and nothing wrong with its size. Sure it may be in the shape of a cube, but the only way that could make traveling worse is if you plan to put it in your pocket or something. As for the wattage, I can’t necessarily guarantee it is running 30 watts, but it charges all my devices fast and I can say that it definitely charges my devices faster than the older models. I made this review because I don’t want anyone to be misguided by this product. Anker is known for their great quality and I want to ensure that in the most honest way possible. One huge dealbreaker for me is the fact that this is strictly one port USB-C, which is a huge move forward but in a small way. Even though it gets a little bit annoying having to order USB-C to Lightning port/other ports [ which , let me tell you, adds up really quickly if you want a legit cord (I got Anker)] , I’m at least satisfied with charging speed. Unless a charger has to be slim and you have to make sure 30watts is what you get, this charger is most likely for you.

Great little charger that has saved me time, money and frustration!
I tried several other PD chargers for my iPhone 11 Pro and iPad Pro, but none of them improved my charging over the 18-watt charger that came with the iPhone. This Anker wall charger powers up my iPhone very quickly (faster than the one that came with it), but it's how it powers my iPad Pro that really impresses on illustrations in Procreate. The larger the file, the faster it drained, despite my iPad Pro being plugged in! Once I started using this charger, the improvement was really obvious. I can now work on moderately large illustrations in Procreate (a power hog) without it draining my battery. And, after working on battery power only until the battery is quite low (20%), I can recharge the iPad in less than half the time that it took with my other chargers. That means I get back to work a lot more quickly, saving me time and money. That is something I really appreciate. If you rely on an iPhone or iPad for work, this little thing can quickly pay for itself. I definitely recommend it!** If you found this review helpful, please mark it as helpful to let me know and help other buyers. Thanks! **

Charges phone fast, but overheats it
I charge my iPhone 13 Pro Max with it. The phone charges very fast, but the phone turns hot while charging.
