Helps prevent weather triggered migraines
I've been using these for over 6 months now. The weatherx app is great. I do think the war plugs help prevent migraines triggered by weather pressure changes. They also seem to help relieve or reduce headaches triggered by them when I forget and put them in late. My only negative is that they are uncomfortable to wear for longer periods of time. This is probably more of a factor for my ear size than anything else. Purple adult seems a tad too large but kids is too small. ADirections claim they should only be used a few times before replacing them. IMO if you are careful about inserting, removing and storage they can last longer. The replacement frequency is supposedly related to the metal membrane breaking so in theory it should last longer if you are careful not to bend or put excess pressure on them.

Best Migraine Relief
Best money I've spent ever! Buy it! The app is easy to use. You can set your level of sensitivity and it'll notify you before the pressure change happens. Even lists potential changes up to 2 days ahead so you can plan to keep the ear plugs with you. You can still hear with them in but it's does make it a little quieter. It blocks background sound but does not stop sudden loud sounds. They're comfortable to wear to bed. They do best preventing the headache but also work to help relieve one too. Honestly I think it helps with sinus headaches too, great for the allergy season.

Get the regular size unless you're literally child-sized
These earplugs definitely seem to make a difference - I know that I have generally bad reactions to pressure shifts, not just migraines, and these do work to ease that. I would suggest trying them even if you don't know for sure if your migraines are affected by the weather. Happy that they work for both pressure dropping and pressure rising - I get the impression that most people are affected more by drops than rises but I'm the other way around. One suggestion though: no matter how small you think your earholes are, you probably still need the regular size, not the small. I bought the small because my earholes are quite small - I have trouble fitting most earbuds - and they were too small to make a good seal unless they were way too far down in the ear canal. I took silicone moldable earplugs and put a little strip of that material around the plugs to make them fit better, and that worked, but since I liked them I went ahead and bought the regular size as well and those are much better. Four stars not five because they do tend to make my earholes feel funny and a little itchy/irritated after a while, but that could be just me as that happens sometimes with other earplugs of this shape as well. They're wearable for long enough to get the benefit though.

Did not work for me
I have migraines due to changes in barometric pressure and I was desperate to get relief during a week with very variable pressure. I tried these when the app suggested to use them. I did not experience pain in my ears like some have mentioned in their reviews, but they did not do anything for my headaches. They are a little pricey for just trying them, but it was worth a try anyway. They do not mute sound much, which was nice, and they were easy to use and comfortable. I might use them as ear plugs when needing reduced volume, but they are not going to be used to change the pressure in my head. Nice case came with them and they are easy to clean. The app works well, they just didn't do what I needed them to do.

Works to avoid barometric pressure migraines!!
Ok, sorry in advance for the long review - I don't frequently write reviews but... I'm already taking a prescription injectable that works well for all of my migraines EXCEPT those caused by barometric pressure - and while I would still experience barometric pressure migraines, they would usually go away if I took a generic Excedrin Migraine product. However, I was experiencing so many barometric pressure migraines that the number of the times per week/month that I was taking the generic medication was causing rebound migraines, not to mention the fact that they weren't intended to be taken that often. I tried exercise, teas, meditation, yoga, creams on the back of my neck and at my temples... I thought there was no relief in sight until I read about the WeatherX earplugs in an article listing "tools" used by others who experience migraines and they were touted as working well for barometric pressure migraines. I can't say enough good things about how well they have worked!! The last two weeks of weather here in NC has been a barometric roller coaster and I don't know how I would have gotten through it without these little purple wonders. When wearing them you can tell that they block some sound; however, I am still able to wear them around the house and carry on a conversation with others (I just may not be able to hear them call for me from another room, which is not always a bad thing :) If you have an issue with migraines caused by barometric pressure, PLEASE do yourself a favor and try these! AND one pair is barely the cost of a fast food meal with a special fancy coffee drink :)

Quality but not for me
I am very sensitive to pressure so i was unable to wear them for any length of time. An average person would find them quite comfortable. They seem durable and are more comfortable than foam ones. They do block out some noise so I would assume it works for pressure as well. Love the app alot even tho I dont use the ear plugs. I do keep them in my purse in case im in a noisy environment. So even though I am not using them for the intended purpose, I do think it was worth my money overall.

Never feel like earplugs fit great but the reg size in these fit awesome. Again under $20 for these. Haven't git a warning to put them on yet.
