I love this book, the practical guidance and the history and substance in the Lord's Prayer comes to life in this short but powerful book. I will read this, nightly, for the rest of my life.

I love how Kathleen McGowan breaks down, explains, and offers everything in this book. I decided to do a 40-day prayer practice using the guidance of this book and I think this is going to be a practice for life now. I was raised Catholic and have spent a lot of time reclaiming and rediscovering a relationship with the Divine Mother in various contexts. This book brought me back to the Divine Father in a way that resonates with my more mystical and gnostic approach to Spirituality.

Have you ever felt like no matter how hard you try you just keep getting slammed into a brick wall? Ever wondered why "bad things seem to happen to good people"? Why God doesn't just fix all the woes of the world? As a dedicated, conservative Christian who has been to Bible college, studied the Scriptures and loves to pray and sing God's praises I found Kathleen's approach refreshing. She talks about the same things I would but in a way that is new to me. There is not much she says that I would disagree with, even from my conservative background. This book has challenged me in some areas, and built on habits and experiences I already have. It has come at just the right time when I was looking for a fresh approach to my faith. I already love The Lord's Prayer but now I pray it daily with meaning.A wonderful modern sung version of The Lord's Prayer is "Hallowed" by Jennifer Knapp.I would recomend this book to anyone. If you are an established follower of Jesus this will give you a new perspective. If you are an enquirer this book will set you off on a true path.

As a Catholic with big questions these days about our church, I needed help with my struggling prayer life. I bought this book after reading The Book of Love trilogy because those novels changed my view of Christianity. I figured if Ms. McGowan could open my eyes to the likely reality of Jesus and Mary Magdalene as a married couple, she might have insight into how best to communicate with God. She does, simply, effectively, through any version of The Lord's Prayer, but with a big difference. By dividing the prayer into 6 parts, to match the 6 petals of The Rose, she provides us with a CONSCIOUS means to ask for what we need as we focus on gratitude, forgiveness, and in the end, love, which is in the center of The Rose. I say this prayer, mindfully, following Ms. McGowan's guides, every day while I walk in the beauty of Montana. In all truth, this book is a life-changer!

I read the Source of Miracles over a year ago and when I opened my Wellness Center I knew it was a book that needed to be shared with all my customers. We began our first book group with this read and each of the particpants loved the book so much that they requested we break down each petal per month. We are just finishing up the final petal (you will have to read the book to understand what i am talking about ; )for December and after November's sharing I found out that from this small book group, their have been over 30 copies of this book given to others from individual members. This is not a self help book, This is a tool for awakening what is already inside of you. I consider this a profound truth that K. McGowan breaks down for the reader in a simple, beautiful way. I think this is the perfect holiday gift.

This us the first of McGowan's books that I've read that was not published as a work of fiction. This is a powerful tool. I had heard similar instructions before in many ways. This is remarkable guide for the most important prayer from Jesus, a faithful Jewish Rabbi who became the Master and focus if the Christian religions founded by his disciples. I have studied religions and have great respect for all faiths.I experience the "Lord's Prayer" as a singularly universal tool for discovering wisdom and peace. I have only just begun with this specific tool, but have been working with other variations for years. This is one if the most carefully spelled out and clear of the guides I've seen. I was also excited to learn of many more sources of the labyrinth here in the US.

We are all on our own path. If your heart is open you will find yours. I hope that we all do. I personally have felt nothing but joy since reading this book. This is not a quick fix and it shouldn't be. We are far more complex than that. I found myself going back & reading the chapters over again. I'm sure I will many times. I spent time with the questions, writing the answers down. I found that to be important in the process.... For me. I guess what I'm saying is that you will get out of it what you put into it. However if it doesn't work for you then don't worry, I'm sure something else will. It's for sure a personal journey. Thank you for reading this. I hope it helped.

The source for personal transformation has been in front of us in the form of the Lord's Prayer and this book helped me realize the potential that lies within me. It is not easy to do personal inspection but necessary for growth and transformation. This is an excellent book.
