worked w my car radio
Despite saying it doesn't work with car radios it worked with mine. I have a 2005 dodge with the original stock radio in it - No bluetooth, No AUX and No screen of any kind - just an old fashioned car radio with CD player. Long ago I had a cable added that had an original iphone 30 pin connector in it that allowed me to both charge and listen to my iphone through the radio. When the phones switched to Lightening I got a simple 30 pin to lightening adapter and that worked fine. But there was no way to connect my iphone 15 with USB-C to that cable - I tried every physical adapter and my local car radio guy told me I need to drop $300 for a new radio. But this little adapter works perfectly either as bluetooth or using the direct audio adapter input . YAY ! . It's only Bluetooth 4 though am wondering about getting a Bluetooth 5.0 version to see if that's any better . Meanwhile - very happy . Caveat though - if you have a more modern radio with a fancy screen this may be worthless like they say .

Sounds good works well
Bought two of these for my quote unquote work radios. Ones for my Apple boombox, and the other is for my Bose docking system. Both high-end stereo components at least for their time. I use Android now that Apple fan and these both are 30 pin units so I needed to find a way to utilize these awesome sounding pieces of stereo with my android. This was a great solution that works wonderfully with all functions. My Apple remote works my Bose remote works with this product. My Bose unit is a docking style too I believe I would take a picture but it's at work. Like I said all functions work via my Android through the Bluetooth unit which has good range and good sound quality. Like I said I have purchased two of these because the first one was a good purchase so I bought a second and we'll probably be buying a third for my Yamaha surround sound that I don't have the Bluetooth connector for this stereo. But did try and it also works well in that too.

Used on an old Klipsch Igroove for garage
I had an old klipsch igroove with the 64 pin connection that has been sitting around I have been working in my garage and decided to try to resurrect the igroove.I put this device on connection and connected to my iPhone without any issue now I have a pretty decent system to listen to in the garage with little cost

Cheaply Made and Doesn't Work
I was hoping to reduce waste by being able to start using my old Bose iPod speaker again with the Smof adapter. No luck. The adapter fits perfectly into the 30-pin prong, the blue lights come on, indicating it's working, and my iPhone even reads the Bluetooth signal and connects; the problem is that the Smof adapter simply doesn't work. What's more, the Smof's AUX input also doesn't work. When I plug my phone or laptop directly into the speaker's AUX input, the speaker works fine, and the sound is rich and clear. But with the Smof adapter? Nothing: no Bluetooth and no AUX input. And the QR code that the product came with is also useless because the page it directs you to no longer exists. This was a waste of money and time and, instead of reducing waste, I now have a useless piece of electrical equipment wrapped in plastic to contend with. To all future buyers, don't bother.

Works well
I had the hardest time with this working for me. Almost returned it until I realized that on my husbands stereo system you had enable pure direct for it work. Works both with Bluetooth and aux. Glad I finally figured it out because I was very frustrated and needed a way to practice routines with the newest iPhone and old dock system on the stereo. Happy camper

Set up Once and it works Every Time
Took some initial messing around with the modes on my cars head unit to make it work but its so solid. Starts pairing to my phone the instant I open the door, and by the time I sit down its ready to go. I leave it plugged in and have had it for at least 5 months no issue

Works exactly as advertised
First of all, don't pay any attention to all these reviewers who claim it doesn't work. It works perfectly, but there's a step that was left out of the user manual. If the device isn't supplying charging power to the docking port, there is no power to operate this device. In my case, I have an old Ion Tailgater, and on the back is a switch labeled "Charge Power". It was off when I first tried the device, and naturally, it appeared dead. The second I turned that switch on it lit up. Bluetooth integration with my iPhone was seamless, and off it went.I was about to sell or toss this old Ion cube speaker. Apple hasn't sold a phone that docks to it in YEARS. Before I trashed it, I went looking to see if I could find a 30-pin to Lightning adapter that might make it useable again, and this little gem appeared in my search results. It has literally breathed new life into my Tailgater. Now, instead of having my phone docked to it, it connects via Bluetooth, with all the advantages of a thoroughly modern (and LOUD) Bluetooth speaker. Love it - and highly recommend it!

Bluetooth adapter
This greatly improved my old Bose Sound Dock system to update with Bluetooth connectivity that is powered from the 30 pin IPhone connection. Simple to connect and works perfectly.
