So glad I found this. I added on-board air to my Jeep and ran some air lines from a compressor to the tank then to two quick connects on each side. I made a bracket to mount to the Jeep and this worked perfectly for me to mount the quick connect to the bracket and hose on the other side.

Used it to plumb a fuel tap for a diesel fired heater in my Jeep. It works great. The only down side is it doesn’t include an oring to seal the top of the fitting. This is easily remedied by fitting an oring

I am unable to imagine an application where this fitting would be usable. Poor quality bronze probably just a cheap brass: looks to be largely zinc, and that filled with voids. Machining is poor, the nut is oversized and loose, thread on the bulkhead fitting stops 1/4" short. The interior threads are parallel not NPT. These fittings go in the trash, the very worst of "Made in China".

Was using these to go through the wall on the paint booth to connect 1/4" NPT... tried it out and it won't let me thread any 1/4" NPT fitting past 2 threads... returning it and looking for another option unfortunately. Should've read more reviews.

The pair of bulkheads that I received did not accept standard 1/4” air fittings. The threads would only engage slightly before binding or cross-threading.

Bought these to use as a feedthru for air line into a room in my small shop.

I got these "Boeray 2pcs Bulkhead Brass Pipe Fitting 1/4 Inch NPT Female Thread to 1/4 Inch NPT Female" and worked like they should.

Very nice brass bulkhead fittings.

Happy so far have not installed yet. 5th wheel parked for winter, going to use it to connect a wave 6 to my low pressure gas line
