PCB Design and Layout Fundamentals for EMC Paperback – July 22, 2019

Other than a few grammatical errors I found the book to be a very clear and concise overview on designing products for EMC compliance. The book comes in handy when you want to review the major components to achieving EMC compliance without having to wade through tons and tons of equations and pages and pages covering advanced theory.

If you are designing PCB's you need to read this book. Save yourself a fortune in bad prototypes. EMC is a science in itself but this book will tell you all the essential principles in a concise, understandable and comprehensive package. Packed with colour illustrations and easy-to-learn concepts. Brilliant.

Very practical and useful information, but numerous grammatical and typographical errors spoil the otherwise good content. The colors used in the printing do not render properly, such that curves labeled "orange, green and purple" are all more or less shades of the same greenish color. Typos sometimes indicate wrong values, etc. If this book had copy editing and improved color printing, I'd give it another star, but I expected a higher standard.

Highly recommended, read this one first. There are many other books that cover these same subjects, but this summarizes many topics all in one volume. This book is also very reasonably priced compared to the industry standard books on this subject.

I thought this might be an okay reference but it’s very elementary and doesn’t really cover the basics either.
