The media could not be loaded. Ok so it looks awesome.Was harder than expected to install, but I got it done.I read the reviews where people said the buttons didn't work right. Here was the issue found. The buttons are keyed and only go in a certain way. They do however fit the wrong way. This is what held me up for about 45 minutes. You'd think it was all set mount board A back into the case and the buttons wouldn't pop back like they used to. This took a long frustrating amount of time to get right. Once you're properly installed they feel like stock buttons, be Patient.I didn't really care for the "paper" under the contacts to the battery. Not sure what the fix would be without soldering it.Another review said it doesn't save the setting but I haven't experienced that. Once I got it set it stayed where I put it.If you're using batteries you'll have to turn off the leds after you're done playing. I was hoping since I'm leaving it plugged into my Pc it would stay on without batteries. Maybe I need to try a official battery pack that recharges from USB.

The product description indicates that the installation is simple. It essentially says, “You open up the remote and insert the product.” This couldn’t be further from the truth. Not only do you have to remove the cover, side panels and back panel of the controller (for which one of the screws is hidden under a standard factory sticker but the directions do not even mention this (I had to research online)), you also have to disassemble the internal workings of the remote. Two logic boards must be unscrewed and somewhat separated while keeping thin soldered wires (that connect the logic boards to each other and to the motors) intact.I bought a brand new remote in order to install this product. Given the lack of coherent instructions and the difficulty to install, some of the soldered wires separated from the logic board, and the brand new remote is now unusable.What a waste of money on this product and my new remote... so frustrating.

This product is Excellent. For people that likes Lighting in General while gaming. It does give an extra immersion factor for me, that of course vary's from user to user. As long as you follow the instructions. Step by Step, it's very easy to install. I'm a person use to modding controllers for years. This is well made. Make sure you have the official Microsoft Play and Charge kit or AA batteries. It will not work with most 3rd Party Batteries. Extreme Rate clearly lists that requirement. Please don't overlook. For the user that's just opening up any controller for the first time, please be patient and follow the included instructions or Watch they're videos for detailed step by step. Extreme Rate are Experienced Tech heads. They will explain into detail on any problem you might encounter. this is a A+++ Product. Controller Looks great, I did this specifically for Jedi the Fallen Order. I like that the user can control the lights by using a combination of button presses. I can tell you i rigourusly shaken the controller and even play games that have a lot of rumbles, just to see if any shortage may happen... none at all. This is a real review, not getting paid or anything, this is from a regular user. I even took the controller to my job site, to show it off to some gamers. They are thinking of getting it now. EXtreme Rate, keep on bringing these great products. an Elite series 2 mod would be a great finishing touch to a great premium controller.

This is definitely not easy to install some of the little things are so annoying. But I had to replace my joystick modules so I thought while it's open might as well get these and customize my controller a little. This is a nice idea but the exacution was done poorly having to use a piece of paper to make a snug fit on the power towers is laughable. But I can't bash on it to much cause it does what it says it does and it works just fine for me with all the colors working normally and the color effects. My biggest issue is these don't really get that bright. My batteries were fully charged and they still were a bit dim. I'd for sure recommend this to people but warn them it might take a bit to install and might require additional tools. Since one of the screwdrivers was to small but I already had a set of security torx that I used instead.

I had to open up my controller to replace a component, so I decided to install this mod (Kit B) while I was already inside. The install was finicky but not difficult. I appreciate that the kit comes with everything you need, but in my opinion, the end result is not worth the 33.59 USD I paid. During the day, the LEDs are just not bright enough for the price. I feel like if the mod had twice as many LEDs, then it would be worth the price. However, they are just not bright enough unless you're playing at night with no lights on. Maybe Kit A (all clear buttons) would be a better buy. I'd say it's worth about 15-20 USD.All that being said, I'd still recommend buying it because other similar mods are comparable in price. Plus you get the satisfaction of modding it yourself. The buttons/joysticks are decent quality (you won't notice you replaced them).Advice for installation, there are two pairs of black and grey wires and two pairs of black and red wires that power the four rumble packs (one in each trigger and two at the bottom) in the controller. These wires can easily break from the circuit board if they are yanked. If wire(s) breaks then the corresponding rumble pack(s) won't work. Your controller will still function as normally minus some or all of the rumbling. Follow every direction to mitigate breaking wires.

The media could not be loaded. I promise if you install everything carefully (watch the video on YouTube) it’ll work fine and look great! I had the problem some of the others were having where the blue light was dim and the led’s would shut off after 30 seconds, but then I switched my battery pack from a rechargeable to a set of Duracell’s and it was all better.
