Maturity: The Responsibility of Being Oneself (Osho Insights for a New Way of Living)

I've read so many Osho books and have never given any of them less than 5 stars. Amazing that he was so prolific and almost never repeats himself. Yes, the theme is always in line, but the content stays fresh and interesting and I always get something new from him. Very insightful in this book is the 7 year phases of the human life cycle, and what happens when we stuck or off track. Recommended!

Can't go wrong with Osho's matter-of-fact wisdom that tears down old school thinking and conventions. Love him. Loved the wisdom of this book. Inspiring.

The idea of taking responsibility for oneself is becoming rare in our modern world. We want someone else to take responsibility for us. Then if we don't like the outcome we will always have someone to blame. Osho is asking of us to take responsibility for our actions and by doing so empower ourselves. This then leads to a maturity and a satisfaction that we can be proud of. But he says that in order to do that we need to have the courage to look inside ourselves and be the person we choose to be. As all Osho books, one can really dive deep, although its simply written. Impossible to take it all in in the first go, but its good to ahve and re-read. Its so important we take responsibility of who we are and also live it more and more. This book helps on the path of discovering who we are.
