Alto Sax Saxophone Plastic Mouthpiece with Cap Metal Buckle Reed Kit for Alto Saxophone Saxophone Parts

After our puppy chewed up my 12yo’s mouthpiece, I replaced it with this one. It worked great!Until her puppy got ahold of it. Now I have two—one she uses and one I keep back. The other day her reed split, and we swapped out the mouthpiece. After class we put a new reed in. I highly recommend this reed and process.

Great mouthpiece and ligature!I am a beginner and my sax came without this. This was a perfect cheap fix! It worked great and I made my first notes using this.For everything you get, you can’t beat it.My reed came perfect and I used it right away. I bought extra in case this one broke or got moldy but haven’t had to use them yet. (The reed is a 2.5 reed by the way).I was worried some reviews mentioned a moldy reed but that was not my case, however if yours does come like that, you can try carefully washing it and letting it sit in mouthwash, or just buy others. Even without the reed, this is a great price, and (you shouldn’t buy it for the reed anyways). Reeds are cheap.I think the sound quality is good. Granted I dont have another mouthpiece/ligature to compare it to and am just excited to get started. I can make solid notes on it.The packaging was weird. It came all taped up in a plastic bag with some padding, no box. But after opening you wouldn’t care.The ligature holds the reed firmly and tightens nicely.I like that it came with a cover too.I am impressed with the quality and am happy with the purchase.
