These do work in dome and map lights on 2001 F-150.....
These do work for both dome, and map lights in my 2001 F-150. They are WAY brighter and cooler (old bulbs caused brown overheat marks in fixtures). Dome light easy to install, and the map lights much more difficult, but no fault of the LED bulbs. They are directional, unlike the original bulbs, so when you install them they need to be turned in the fixtures to direct the light properly. I can't comment on longevity, since I just installed them. Hope they last! I am happy, so far....

You might need to pinch in your bulb contacts
These are great for bright, white, light in my Honda 2005 Element (mid-cabin ceiling and rear cargo ceiling). I did need to slightly pinch in the contacts on the bulb holder. Having done that, these work without trouble or dropout from vibration.

Works great!
It is a good value for the money I paid. However, the fit wasn't exactly tight. I changed both the left and right lamps and on one side, the lamp just said tight enough so as not to fall off.

No shadows in my car!
Nice, bright and no flicker or cut off. The chips go the length of the bulb vs a small square in the middle with tons of wasted space. Amazing bulbs, very impressed.

light output is fantastic but gets hot and can interfere with AM radio receptionbut is not polarity sensitive which is a slight trade off

Works great in NA Miata
Very easy to install and fits in 90’ Miata. They’re way better than OEM, still have yet to find out if they’ll last as long as they claim. So far, great product!
