Mechanics gloves (not heavy duty gardening gloves)
I would describe these as "mechanics gloves". They are pure nitrile so are impervious to probably every type of solvent / chemical. They are NOT heavy duty gardening gloves and don't have high resistance to tears and puncturing. They occupy a unique niche in the market place and are perfect for this particular niche. They are not clingy (like latex) so are easy to remove. They are ideal for tasks where touch sensitivity and /or chemical resistance is required. I think they make great general household gloves (due to ease of deployment / removal). They are excellent value.

Close-fitting, electrical & chemcal protection.
Accurately sized (Small/size 7 fits very closely on my sized 7.5 hands, as I wanted). Nitrile rubber and long cuff gives good protection (for SHORT periods) against most household and garden chemicals (and by their thickness, insulation against UK 240 v mains voltages.) Can be worn beneath thicker gloves/gauntlets for added protection/extended periods of use and extra mechanical strength. VERY detailed literature on their performance and limitations are included (need microscope to read them!).

NOT waterproof
Really comfortable gloves, and great for many DIY tasks. However they are not waterproof: if you wash your hands with the gloves on in any water (hot or cold), the water comes straight through and your hands end up wet. Makes you wonder how they can provide chemical protection?
