Good for my peace of mind!
The last thing you want is bedbugs hiding in your bed or bedding! After surviving a problem brought by a new tenant in my grandaughter's big-city apartment building, these are great for giving her some peace and confidence that she is safe in her bed. We got her the white ones so she can see in there to check them out as often as she wants to do.Along with effective treatments to deal with the pests, these are a great safeguard from future issues. I wish we had found them sooner! Highy recommended for anyone living in a multi-unit building.

Came the next AM
Delivery was super fast! The exterminator said these really work and recommended these. I haven’t seen anything but I’m not moving them. They’re a lot bigger than I thought but I’m ok with that.

Product seems sturdy enough but 4x4 dimension is misleading
It seems sturdy enough. They arrived unbroken and unused and with the correct number of traps, unlike what others have posted. It also does not have adhesive inside which some purchasers were expecting but that is not the way these are supposed to work. The sides of the trough are supposed be be so steep and smooth that once bed bugs get in they can't climb out.The 4x4 dimension is misleading because they measured it at the top of the trough but it angles inward down to the bottom and also because the corners are chamfered which further reduces the opening for a square or rectangular post. My measurements indicate that the maximum size of a square post that will fit is 3-5/16", the max size for a round post is 3-11/16" diameter, and the max size for a rectangular post is 3-11/16"x2-15/16" [If the longer side of a rectangular post is less than 3-5/16" it will fit, if it is longer than that but less than 3-11/16" it will still fit if the shorter side is less than or equal to 3-5/16" minus the amount the longer side was over. Example: long side is 3-9/16" (which is +4/16"), then if short side is less than or equal to 3-1/16" it will fit.]

Seems to work as described.
I put diatomaceous earth in both parts of the trap. I have found a few little critters dead in the outer ring of the trap, but no bed bugs so far-for which I am very grateful. No bites either. Maybe we caught them in time!

Didn't work at all.

Good secondary line of defense
If you are unfortunate to have these creatures you have learned that you need multiple layers of defense and have to implement lifestyle changes to combat them. I like the idea of these traps as these blood suckers do not like to crawl up plastic surfaces. The perimeter channel is a great idea and I took it to the next level by adding diatomacious earth inside the channel. The earth dries out the bugs and if they should make it past this line of defense they likely will not survive. The only problem I have with them is the width is large causing the to protrude past the edge of the bed. I stepped on the edge so many times and it is painful. I recommend the manufacturers round traps instead of the square if you plan to use them on the feet of your bed.

Haven't caught anything yet.
I like that the interceptors are square - bed legs seem to fit better in them. I bought black ones because I read that that is the color bedbugs prefer, but I wish I had gotten white ones. It is too hard to see if there is anything caught in the trap because of the dark color.
