Concise and covers everything needed to put it all together.

I'm studying Physics now at University as a mature student and this was a great way to get me caught up on certain small topics I never covered in my earlier school days, like significant numbers and common basic physics equations. I'd definitiely recommend this book. I'm even curious to see what the other books in this series are like and would consider buying others for chemistry and/or biology.

Lots of worked examples and practice questions, easy to follow.

Some decent explanations but answers for the practice questions not printed in the book and difficult to find on the website, and there's a lot of errors once you do find it (hint - use Google instead of trying to locate it using the site's built in search).Answer sheet is inconsistent on providing workings or explanations, so often you're left unsure of where you went wrong, or wondering if its just another error.Hire better proof readers next time! I'd expect better quality and attention to detail for a second edition from OUP.
