Great introduction, good examples and introduction from the author. She does a good job of giving practical meaning, through examples, to the theory behind the coding schemes discussed in the book.

This is a well written book on iterative channel coding (error correcting coding) techniques which cover subjects on this topic which an engineer/researcher needs to know about such codes.Buy reading this book you will get familiar with TURBO/LDPC codes, their encoding and decoding process and tools for their performance evolution.The author provided semi codes for algorithms presented in this book which can be easily implemented in MATLAB or C++, these semi code increased the value of this book.I strongly recommend this books to engineers/graduate students who want to learn iterative channel coding techniques.
