Fingerprint Deadbolt Door Lock, HuTools Biometric Keyless Entry Door Lock with Electronic Keypad, Auto Lock, 20 User Codes Fingerprints, Satin Nickel

I have purchased 2 of these locks and plan to purchase a third! These locks are easy to install and have fit right in place of my old deadbolt locks. They are easy to setup and fingerprint setup is a breeze. I am not sure though on deletion of a fingerprint as it seems that if you don't want that person to enter your dwelling any longer it would be kind of hard to get their fingerprint to delete the fingerprint but I do understand the concept. I think that a complete reset of the system would probably need to occur. Overall this product is quality, value, easy to install, easy to setup, and easy to change or add too. I would definitely recommend as this allows you to quickly open your door with a press of a finger or entry of a code without fumbling for your keys which since i drive a vehicle where I do not need to put my keys in the ignition finding them is always a chore and this solved the problem.

My only issues with this device, is tiny fingers, smaller than an 8 year old, may not work at all. If you are not familiar with fingerprint scanners, they are more accurate and rapid when you tap your finger in all kinds of angles and directions. Don't just repeatedly tap your finger the same way during programing a fingerprint. I bought this so it is one less key to carry, and my mother's habit to lock everyone out. My mother still has big-city habits of locking the door constantly. If you step into the yard for 5 minutes, she's locking the door. I became tired of getting locked out. I live in a rural housing development, where you can leave everything unlocked, and you know most of your neighbors. Not to mention my state is a constitutional carry...so everyone is carrying. No one is going to go into an occupied house or property unannounced because they expect to get shot. My mother is unused to that and doesn't understand. Your protection is your weapon(s), not a lock or cops. A lock is just there so they have to make noise to get in to give you warning.

Everything works well, only gripe is that when it locks, it seems to do it as a lock-unlock combo for 3 times before it locks. Perhaps there is a small imperfection in alignment, I don't know, but it does lock. Fingerprint detection is good and key combo works as well. This is installed inside the garage so it is not exposed to the elements. Good for kids to get in the house without keys.

Update to my original review on June 21. Don’t buy this. Every two weeks batteries die and now lasting just over a week. What next, one day? Save your money. Not worth it even though I love the fingerprint feature. Of course missed the window to return.June 21, 2021. Like that I don’t have to hunt for my keys to get into the house. Fingerprint entry is a plus. Don’t need to get a key made for a key lock. Not that you need to anyway if the unit works. Wouldn’t use if it was the one and only entry point. Don’t trust it that much. The buttons are good sized and background light is nice. Programming stinks. Had two user codes set up and one thumb print. Went to add another thumb print and nothing. The whole panel went dead. Had to take off front plate which was a pain because it sits tight on the unit. Which is a good thing but a pain to remove without cracking or scratching the plastic face plate. Otherwise working for now. Only less the one day. Fingers crossed. Installation was a breeze. Didn’t even need help from the hubs.

Why didn’t I get this earlier. Such a life saver, I never have to look for my house keys, two options to unlock, never fear locking myself out, and very easy to install. I admit at first I thought I was over my head to do it myself. I watched a YouTube on the exact lock and learned it’s easier than I thought. All together took my 30 mins. Love the self lock feature. Never questioning myself if I locked the door or not. After a few seconds to a 1 minute the door locks automatically

After a rocky breakup, I didn’t feel confident that I could go on with my day to day without my now-ex showing up at any given moment to give me a hard time. And the fact that my baby daughter was under my roof, this was not something I was going to allow myself to be susceptible to. I chose this lock because it was solely the fingerprint scanner that allowed access & there was no option for a physical key (traditional locks are pickable). Upon investigating further, I saw that it had excellent reviews on top of being very considerate of my need for frugality during these times, so I went for it. Now, this was my first time ever replacing and/or installing any kind of lock/knob thing on any door ever, so I did struggle a little to install this, but nonetheless I was successful, so I can still give it the badge for beginner friendliness. Its been a couple weeks now and I've had no issues with it. If anything, this makes me life easier because now I don’t have to fumble around my purse for house keys or pull a muscle trying to insert and turn a key while simultaneously carrying 100lbs of groceries or my precious bundle of joy. 12/10 would recommend this product. 12/10 would buy this again.

I wanted to love this fingerprint scanning deadbolt. I easily installed and set this up on my office door and although the directions weren't written by a native English writer they were clear and easy to follow. The fingerprint reader worked well, usually although it sometimes required several attempts. I set it up with a one minute delay to auto lock so that the office would always be secure. I use this door about 10 times per day.Unfortunately after less than 3 weeks use, I was unable to enter my office last evening. It was completely dead, nada, nothing! I was able to go around and get in a different way but the fact that there was no low battery warning at all is concerning. Furthermore, the AA batteries still measure 1.50V which is still nominal. Perhaps the manufacturer could set a time of day lock so that it could just be locked automatically in the evening to solve this battery problem by extending battery life and have some sort of warning that the batteries are low.
