This hotel has so many listening devices in it. I'm so glad I got this! Wow... These people are really listening to my convos. I'm so happy I bought this device. Well worth the money. When it comes to your security you can't ever be too careful.BUY IT!Watch the vids on how to use it! Wow... I can't believe they have listening devices in the lamps, middle of the bed, and above the fridge in the kitchen. I moved. F*** this hotel I'm gonna get them closed for all the spy stuff they have in the rooms.I stayed here years ago and recently stayed again. You never know until you know!!!! This is a great product. Unfortunately the instructions are written in ChineEnglish and are very difficult to understand. After much technical investigation I was able to find its full potential and discovered it is a truly fantastic product. How do I get what I learned into the hands of the manufacturer so they can write better instructions?

The device have all what I’m looking for, in addition easy to use and high quality material.Best choice I recommend it.

Returned and didn’t use as I don’t read Chinese language, therefore could not understand how to operate.

Could have better instructions

I am extremely impressed with the performance of the M8000 RF/Magnetic Bug Detector. The extra Hidden Camera Detector works well too.I also own an expensive EMFields Acoustimeter AM10 EMF Meter that is very sensitive between RF 200-Mhz thru 8-Ghz.(Note: The M8000 specs indicates a wider range of RF sensitivity from 1-Mhz thru 12-Ghz).I have run both RF units side by side and I can tell you that the M8000 can be adjusted to be as sensitive as the fast reacting AM10 and that the M8000 has a very fast reaction time.I have also tried out the Magnetometer on various strength magnets. On strong magnets it is sensitive enough to within 6-inches distance from the magnet and 1-inch distance on weaker magnets such as located in small speakers and/or refrigerator magnets.For the magnetometer on the M8000 to pickup on magnets, the sensor (located in the end of the extension right where the light is emitting) needs to be in constant motion in order to sense changes-of-magnetism.This purchase of the M8000 Bug Detector is Absolutely a Definite Winner..

The item arrived same day, which was great but when I removed it from the shipping box, it was obvious that it had been opened and used. There were several things missing and no instructions. Amazon refunded my money and were helpful through online chat. The seller however gave no response to emails or messages sent to them to explain or address customer concerns. I even offered to forgo the return if they would just provide the missing items. Advise to just steer clear and purchase from different seller. There are too many not to. As far as the item itself, it is way overpriced and while built with aluminum, it does not justify $149. It does the exact same thing they all do, read RF transmission signals and that with a lot of effort. You have to constantly be adjusting the sensitivity and it does not in any way "pinpoint" anything. What it does do, is give a ton of false positives. Between that and the fact that the seller would send an opened and used item, I give it two thumbs down. Items missing: Instructions, charging cable, hidden camera-lens detector, magnetic GPS sensor with light.

Great quality. Heavy duty! Tried it out on a few things in the house and it's works great! Inspection light is super bright and makes finding things really easy. The camera director is very simple to use and makes hidden cameras easy to spot. The instructions are well written in multiple languages and ver thorough.
