Best 8K KVM at this price point
I was looking for a HDMI 2.1, 2-monitor, 4-computer KVM, and this is the best among the three I tried at this price point. Here's what I found:- EDID - It's not the full-featured variant; if you switch from PC-1 to PC-2, PC-1 will stop sensing the monitors, but it does keep the windows in place when switching back. Other KVMs w/ EDID at this price point also behave the same way.- HDMi-CEC - Surprisingly, this does pass through the HDMI-CEC Power-on signal, which is supported by M3 and M4 Macs; i.e., if you're connecting it to a TV instead of a monitor, waking up your Mac will also power on the TV. It doesn't pass through the Power-off signal, which is fine and probably the desired behavior because you wouldn't want the TV to be turned off while switching PCs. None of other KVMs I tried support HDMI-CEC passthrough at all.- Stable 4K 144hz signal. Some of the KVM I tried will occasionally blank the screen for unknown reasons.- It's not a DDM-class KVM, so all the USB devices will go away when you switch PCs. However, the other KVMs I tried have additional issues with unplugging/plugging USB devices. This one works as expected. All in all, a good KVM for the money.

not bad but not perfect
the KVM works well, it is compact in size which I find advantageous for my application, although this makes bulky HDMI connectors difficult if not impossible to accommodate. If you get this KVM, be sure to get some low profile HDMI cables/connectors. Some of the drawbacks are that there is no keyboard shortcut to switch inputs, so they included a separate USB - C switch with buttons, this makes this KVM impossible to use with a remote KVM setup impossible. Also it seems there is no standby signal being sent to the different machines, causing delay between each PC switch; not bad but not perfect.

Ease of use
Really am super glad I got this USB switch box. I had 3 keyboards and 3 mice on my desk and it was driving me nuts with all the cables and switching between the various keyboards and mice. This is so much easier and more convenient. Wish I would have found this device years ago. The only suggestion I have for this device is to make the layout of the buttons the same on top of the switch box as on top of the remote round switch. The round switch has the pattern 1-2-3-4 (clockwise from 9 o'clock) and the USB switch box has the pattern 1-3-2-4 (clockwise from 9 o'clock). Also, you included a USB power switch that was not on the list of included parts - you might want to add that cable to list of included items so people know what they're gonna be getting. Thanks again for such a great product!!!

Doesn't work like it should
I've had this for many months, well past the return date, and I really wanted it to work.I've been building computers for 40 years, I use multiple OSes in many configurations, I know how this device should work, but it doesn't. I've experimented with different setups, new cables, and different ports, and in a setup where I'm booting Linux, Windows, a pfsense appliance (bsd based), a TrueNas Scale server (linux based), and a proxmox server (linux bases), too many of the machines don't see the KVM keyboard on boot, and the HDMI fails to be initialized. If you have the switch set to that chosen device on boot, maybe something will work, but most of the time it won't...in once case I got the display for one of the servers to work just by using a display port to hdmi adapter instead of straight hdmi connection. That it doesn't work is Nonsense. These are all basic input and output specifications, there is no reason they shouldn't work, even if the device creates a emulated device on boot. I think KCEVE just doesn't know what they are doing. Sure it looks like a good deal, but spend your money elsewhere.

Worked great to bring one keyboard/mouse/screen to multiple computers
This works great - I have a security system and three computers/servers connected to it. Now I am able leave it on security cameras most of the time, but get to the servers when I need to. Much more convenient than the second monitor/kbd/mouse that I was swapping around between the three computers. No problems at all in several months of use - this is exactly what I needed.

Significantly exceeded my expectations
I've had some problems finding a USB3 switch box that works seamlessly with my Wireless mouse and keyboard between multiple computers running Windows and Linux. The problem I've typically run into in the past is that my wireless Microsoft keyboard's USB dongle didn't seem to play nicely with the other USB 3 switches I tried... until this one. This KCEVE USB 3.0 Switch switches absolutely seamlessly between my 3 different computers without issue. Furthermore, the model I received appears to be an upgrade over what's shown: The LED indicator lights are now larger and brighter and the text labeling on the unit itself is greatly improved and no longer backwards (input and output ports used to be reversed). To summarize, this is one of the best products I've ever purchased for such a reasonable price and from my experiences, it's rock-solid and out-performs more expensive switches: 5 STARS!Cons: None.

Causes constant monitor flickering
Constantly makes my monitors flicker. Sometimes they tirn off for a long period of time and i have to disconnect them. I even tried different monitors and different cables and had the same resilt. I do not recommend spending so much money on this.
