BLUETOOTH KEY LOCKBOX Does what it says on the can BUT and it’s a massive “BUT” . Read on...Yes, it’s a versatile key safe. If you just set it up to use combinations you have just put in , then want to hand these out and are prepared to change as often as required, this is probably for you.That is, set up to five combinations ( it will store 5) , that you want to hand out but change or cancel one (or all of them) whenever you wish. You can do that with ease.BUT if you wish to use it as intended, handing out access via a smart phone with no visible combination. That’s a completely different ball game. Actually, it’s not a ball game. More like an ascent on the North Face Of The Eiger.I have set up the blue tooth, smart phone app access with my daughter and cleaning lady - ( iOS and ANDROID) , both fairly app savy but frankly, THE SOFTWARE IS LABYRINTHINE . I thought I would just need to send them the invitation via my app but they need to respond to that AND set up an account with MasterLock. I challenge you to set up your app/ account, then send out an access invite and get the person invited to open the key vault that same day using their smart phone alone.Master Lock could probably make this more difficult but I doubt it.I still want to like this key safe. I am having difficulty not hating it.THE MOST USER UNFRIENDLY PROCEDURE FOR WHAT COULD BE MADE OH SO SIMPLE.This is my own opinion, all my reviews are by me alone. Richard Phillips.

Useless for Airbnb. Much more effort to use than a £15 manual lockbox.- Requires guests to download an app, sign up for and create an account. This seems like pointless data scraping and I wouldn't expect my guests to do this.- No remote capability. Requires landlords to turn up in person every day to manually synch new codes/ revoke old ones, just like a £15 box.- Access time settings aren't customisable beyond day v night. No ability to set a custom time or date restrictionIt would be a good (if very expensive) device for personal use, but lacks every commercial feature I was looking for.

We bought this because we wanted to be able to monitor what was happening with the keysafe for security reasons. However, when we first bought it there was a major security flaw with the app - if logged in and the keysafe was connected to bluetooth (allowing one to keep track of when the lockbox was being opened), if anybody pressed the unlock button of the keysafe it would unlock automatically without the code needing to be entered. The new app has a function to disable this feature altogether. Alternatively, one can set it so that the code does not need to be entered if the phone is connected by bluetooth but does need to press a corresponding button on the phone. Much more secure!However, it is still a bluetooth key safe with no wifi function and therefore the phone needs to be connected to monitor usage and change codes. So not great for monitoring whether the key safe is being accessed whilst away from the house which was part of the reason we bought this.

We have a property in Surrey where one of these is fitted. it was supplied by a local security company and has worked really well for us. We decided to install the very same product at a property in the Midlands. I went on the company website who advise customers who the selected suppliers are. I contacted all of them and the only supplier to carry this was Amazon so I went ahead with the purchase from them. The product arrived quickly and I went to set it up as we did the first one. We were given an activation code and product ID as before and went through the simple process of set up. As you can see from the pictures both the phone set up and on-line account set up failed. We contacted the manufacturer on Monday 17th May with the required information and got an automated reply that they would come back to us as soon as they could. By Thursday we had heard nothing in spite of sending reminder requests so have had to return the product. This is not the standard of service I expect from any organisation and as a result we will be moving to an alternative manufacturer for all our sites.Today is the 24/5, a whole week after I emailed the supplier. They have informed me that there is an additional fee of $25 in order to be able to set the lock remotely. I am not sure if that is in the product description?

This is a great keysafe. Very sturdy, easy to use and discreet. When it came to installation and setup, the most difficult part by far was extracting it from the packaging (It was screwed into the packaging inside the keysafe - took ages to work out how to remove the package). It fixed to the wall really easily and setup was very simple. I love the flexibility it gives with the app; being able to have a separate code for our cleaner is great. The temporary code feature is also really useful for somebody who only needs one-time access - no need to keep changing the code.The App is easy to use and gives information on when the keysafe is used, so you know exactly who has accessed it, and when.The light-up keys are brilliant, meaning that you never have to struggle to see the numbers, even when it's dark.All in all, a great product. No need for multiple keys (and remembering who has them). Would definitely recommend.

This looks really stylish next to my new front door, good clear numbers that light up blue, easy to input code. The blue tooth unlock is a really great idea although the only down side is the app seems to mop up your data draining your phone battery. So you could walk up to our box and enter the code, or you can walk up to the box, pull out your phone, unlock your number, search for the app, press the app (sometimes it then asks for your email address and password) then press any button of the box when the app is finally ready.
