Easy to read book, which gives covers quite wide spectrum of mathematics used in search engines, speech recognition and etc.I really liked how the author managed to explain complicated topics like speech recognition or the viterby Algorithm so well.Also i liked the chapter about keeping things simple - the right and simpler model may wrong at the beginning just due to the noise or lack of knowledge.The Best part is footnotes with original papers and sources with more details.

Great contents - kindly explained.
