Fitting replacement fan to in line duct in a loft
The existing inline fan had stopped working. Just a matter of disconnecting power cables(after cb thrown) and then removing the old and fitting the new fan and affixing the fan to duct with large zip straps. Now working and a silent operation over the en suite shower

Quiet fan
It's quiet, low power consumption and needs no Power Supply/transformer, just a mains plug. Using it as an extractor from a comms/IT cab. EZ

Perfect little extraction unit for small enclosure!
I stumbled upon a discovery: this in-line fan is marginally narrower than 100MM ducting, and it fits snugly inside the ducting (i.e. rather than simply attaching it to the beginning of the ducting), thereby reducing external noise levels to almost a whisper.

It is NOT quiet, beware!!
Bought this for a project that go delayed, so only just wired it up, for it to be described as quiet is false advertising unless your argument is that it is quieter than the jets that fly over my home, unusable for a bathroom extractor if you need to sleep while someone is in the shower'Return window is now closed so left with an expensive piece of bin fodder!
