Q: For the msi mag z690 tomahawk wifi ddr4 i notice that the 'about this item' also lists that it supports ddr5. which is it? ddr4 or ddr5-

DDR4 and DDR5 are not backward compatible. If the board is stated as a DDR4 variant, it is only DDR4 compatible.

Q: Msi mag tomahawk z690 product description states wifi as being 6e. is it truly the 6e or the inferior wifi 6 technology?

I just bought this motherboard, (MSI MAG Z690 TOMAHAWK WIFI DDR4 (MS-7D32)) has the following WiFi Chip: Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX201 160MHz which is not 6E compatible. Only the DDR5 version of this board has the 6E chip (AX211)

Q: If i filled 2 out of the 4 m.2 slots with nvme ssds how many sata ports will be disabled? i didn't see that mentioned in the online manual.

From the manual: “* SATA_1 will be unavailable when installing M.2 SATA SSD in the M2_3 slot.” So, as long as neither of them are put in slot 3, none.

Q: Does it come with screws?
