I ordered this not sure if I actually liked it. It looks different from other teapots. Very beaker like. However, after using it and having it on my counter, I fell in love with it! It’s just the right size, has a handle that is comfortable and functional. It pours without dripping for the most part. Maybe one or two small drips sometimes, but not something I’d complain about. The best part is that it lets all of the tea leaves infuse with the entire pot. The leaves are not confined to a small space. Once the tea is ready, the built in strainer in the cap works flawlessly to keep the leaves from your poured tea. I love that you can see all the tea leaves infusing the water and floating freely. Also it’s easy to clean. Just dump the tea and rinse with some water.

I found some loose tea that I really liked but got tired of making one cup at a time using one of those tea balls. I bought this so I could make a pot of tea and drink it all through the day. This pot is perfect. I bought the medium size. I can just put the tea directly in the pot so it steeps a lot better. I can drink it hot or put the pot in the fridge and have iced tea all day. Perfect for what I needed. Nice and sturdy, not cheaply made.

This is exactly what I was looking for! I used to use one of those strainers that you put on top of your cup to dispense the tea, and while neat, I find that they start to stick a bit (so water goes straight through to the countertop instead of the steeper) and are difficult to clean in the filter area. I wanted something easier to clean but that still allowed the full vessel space for loose leaf tea. This is great! It's the perfect size for individual cups of tea, it pours great, the strainer is awesome, it's SUPER easy to clean, and it's cute!

This pot is great for anything that needs to be strained. Because of the convenient straining lid there is no need for a tea ball or herb ball. The glass is sturdy and has not broken going from hot to cold. So nice to see your tea bloom through the clear glass. Very easy to clean. I wish it had a thermal coat to keep the liquid warm while serving.
