Works Great Thanks!
It installs easy, and in most cases its cheaper to replace the whole fixture then the old heavy lead battery's in the old outdated signs!

Great value, bright light, ceiling or wall mounting
The media could not be loaded. As I show in the video it is quite difficult to get the face plate off to hook up the battery or to get at the wires. The mounting hardware is on the inside of each exit sign. It would have been nice if they had included a tool that would allow you to push the tabs in to get the face plate off more easily. Once you have it installed it's going to be really difficult to remove the face plate to change the battery. The only way I could remove the face plate to get at the mounting hardware was to push in on the plastic beside the tabs and I had to push really hard to do that. I don't look forward to doing that once the exit signs are in place. The value though is great as you get 12 signs for a little over $200. I've been checking around and other prices I've seen for the same quality exit sign are quite a bit more than one is offered here on Amazon.I only gave it 4 stars because of the difficulty level of getting the faceplate off and you need to know how to work on live electricity. The working on live electricity is going to be a factor as exit signs are hardwired and unless you have a breaker that you can turn off, they are almost always wired to stay on at all times. It's not like a switch you can turn off and on like working on lights or electrical sockets. To minimize getting shocked I use rubber-coated wire cutters and these gloves that you can get here on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3T91kRH.You will need to cut the live wires with a wire stripper, make sure that you don't touch the metal portion of the wire stripper. Having a wire stripper like this one that you can get on Amazon: https://amzn.to/49MQub8 that has finger guards will greatly reduce your probability of being shocked. Always work with a buddy when working on live electricity. Cut the black or hot wire first and then the white or neutral wire, put wire nuts on them till you get the sign installed, then put your white wire from the sign into a wire nut (you'll have to use wire nuts, not connectors as the sign wires are strands and not solid) and tighten it snugly. Then the tricky part, wearing the gloves I recommend, put the two black wires close together, but not touching, and with your other hand put the wire nut over the 2 wires quickly. You will hear a slight snapping sound, but if you're wearing those gloves, standing on a non-conducting ladder like this one: https://amzn.to/4cc2kNU or a wooden ladder like this one: https://amzn.to/48T5d34 you won't feel any shock. Never use an all-aluminum ladder to do electrical work, even if you think the power is turned off.Once you have the electrical wires connected, put them inside the light and close the lid. The next time the power goes off, these exit signs will continue to shine for about 90 minutes.

It was perfect for my project and a great price

Solidly built, large enough to see fomr a distance.
I have not yet installed any of these signs, so this review is just based on the appearance right out of the box, and therefore I cannot comment on the brightness. However, the build quality is definitely good - all heavy plastic, and it has an option to connect to power from the side or the top. You can choose to light one side only (the default) or make it double-sided. The two arrows are covered by a plate that can be snapped out so you can choose one direction or both. However, once the arrow tabs are removed, they are not made to go back in, so don't make a mistake. All in all, these appear to be a very good deal for a pack of 6.

Good price but not built to last
The city requires us to have 16 of these to be in compliance with the fire ordinance. They are easy to install but if we get over 15 months before it dies out and looks terribly weathered we are lucky. The price fluctuates so when I see a good price I purchase 6 to 12 at a time. At first the brightness is great but that quickly fades but in all fairness we are buy the ocean and the sea air is hard on electronics.

High quility Exit Signs
These Exit signs are a great purchase. Each sign comes with a solid back for flat wall installation. The sign also contains everything you need to mount it at 90 degrees to a wall or ceiling. There is a second "Exit" cover to replace the solid back and make it double sided sign. The signs are designed for hard siring and have pig tail wires for electrical connections. These sign have battery backup to light up in case of loss of power. These signs should meat all safety requirements.
