My son loved it but it’s already broken!
My son is obsessed with Coyote Peterson. I was so excited to find the wasp for his birthday. He has taken it with him everywhere. It has become his favorite toy. However, it has only been 3 weeks and it has fallen apart. The abdomen just popped right off of the thorax. He is heartbroken. This is a design flaw especially for something that is geared towards kids play. It shouldn’t just break off like that. We have since glued it and I will continue to glue it because he loves it so much. The coolest toy for Coyote fans but definitely faulty design for kids play.

Very Accurate Model
This was purchased for a seven year old boy to pretend he was Cayote Peterson. This is a model and not a toy and the abdomen snapped off in about one hour of play. Great model but not a toy.

Cool but not actual size
Just figured it would be actual size but still really cool.

If you want to give your cat a heart attack......
This is a VERY realistic, life size figurine of an Executioner Wasp! Oh my! Excellent detail, and I do believe it is true to size, which is frankly terrifying. Beautifully done, vibrant colors and well...... just darn scary! Brave Wilderness has once again lived up to its stellar reputation, that's for sure.*On a more personal note, I debated putting this on the carpet, and waiting to see how my kitties would react, but after thinking about some more, I decided not to. One, because they're very smart girls, and they know what 'real' bugs look like and what 'toy' bugs look like..... and this really, really looks like a real bug! I was worried it would either A- Freak them out beyond hope, or B- Bring out the 'mighty, fearless hunter' in them, and they would attack it to pieces. The second option is what bothered me, because, I don't want my cutie cuteness sweetie sweetness kitty cat-nisses thinking they can take on a bug that is that BIG, or ANY bug, in a smaller size, that resembles an Executioner Wasp...... or regular wasp.... or hornet... or honey bee.... anything with a stinger that would make their little faces swell up....So.... as I said, if you want to give your cat a heart attack..... OR....you want an excellent Executioner Wasp replica, THIS is the one for you!

Wasp fell apart, not for active play
Coyote Peterson’s antics as well as his deep respect for and knowledge of nature’s creatures is fascinating. I expected a good quality product from this brand. This wasp was disappointing however. It has good design detail (although it is not true to size as advertised). I like the flexibility of the plastic, but the abdomen broke off with just a small amount of manipulation. For that reason I only recommend this as a display or educational model. It is too fragile for active play. However, if you are buying it for educational purposes, be aware that the “file card” (with information about the wasp) on the back of the package is not protected. There was a label stuck on mine which tore part of the card when I removed it. The plastic on the front of the card is also firmly attached- so it is impossible to open the package without damaging the card. The iron-on patch seems to be well made.
