AndisTS-1 17235 Pro Foil Lithium Titanium Foil Shaver, Cord/Cordless, Smooth Shaving Cordless Shaver with Charger, Gray

After asking around and watching YouTube and trying to understand how the foil shaver works and what is purposes I decided to go with the Andis ProFoil Shaver. I got the results that I hoped for; the shave was close, closer than what my t-outliners can do. It cleaned up the area I have a bald head so I use it to clean up after I use a clippers I also use it on my neck below my beard and I am satisfied with the results. If you're getting a foil razor please understand that it will not cut longer hairs it's not made for that it will only lift and cut the small hairs that are left and remaining.

Wow, this razor is amazing! I use it shave my head and it is so much better than anything I have used before. I had been using the Handyman from Manscaped and I would have to go over certain areas many times and it still wouldn't cut close. I finally gave up and ordered this razor - what a difference! It shaves really close and with only a couple of quick passes. I'll see how it works as time goes on (i.e., do the cutters need replacement) - but for now I am loving it!

I have been using this shaver for a few weeks now, and I am truly impressed with its performance. The powerful motor provides a smooth and quick shave, even in difficult areas. Additionally, the blade technology is excellent, as it reduces skin irritation, which I've always looked for in such products. I love that it’s waterproof, making it easy to clean and allowing me to use it in the shower. The battery life is impressive, so I don’t have to worry about charging it constantly. Overall, it's an investment worth making for anyone seeking an efficient and comfortable shave.

Excellent foil shaver. Just wish there was some silicon between the blade and end of the blade housing. The blades and foils can last a long time, but they eventually rattle themselves apart to the point the noise is unbearable. I'm sure 4 silicon inserts would double the life of the replaceable head and blades. They would also be easily removable for cleaning.I have to clean mine after every use to prevent bacterial infection. I really wish they included a narrow brush specifically for cleaning the ends of the blade housings.

I am 45 years old & have been shaving my head since 1996. I use a straight razor and go with and the against the grain so even when pulling my skin back you feel no hair. I have tried so many different electric razors that I lost count. They ALL claimed to not leave stubble, rashly skin, small cuts, etc… after gaining a little weight over the years I’ve developed a few folds on the back of my neck and I have to be super careful now to not slice a chunk out when using the straight edge. I finally looked into an electrical razor again and after about 2 1/2 hours of searching I landed on this one. And I am SO GLAD I did. I tried it right out of the box and I was floored! Amazed! I couldn’t believe it! This think didn’t just work but it worked VERY well! I had gone about a 9 days since my last shave due to a cut from the straight edge and it didn’t matter. This thing allowed me to Shane my head (dry) in just a few minutes. And left no little spots that the razor couldn’t reach, IT…GOT…THEM…ALL. The only downfall is that it didn’t get it as smooth at it does when I use my straight edge against the grain but that’s just something I like to do, or maybe liked to do because after using this and how fast and easy it is I don’t think it will even matter anymore. I can go this faster than brushing my teeth so an everyday thing will be no problem at all. As a bonus it dud something else that was a very nice surprise. I was able to shave my face and neck (dry) as well. Every and I mean every single electric razor I’ve tried on my face and neck in the past has not only not worked but after just touching my skin felt like it was pulling each hair out one by one. And when I did suffer through it hoping it might get easier it just left a nasty rash that lasted for days. So I was amazed when this working on my face & neck too!! Not a nick, scratch or razor bump came out of it. FINALLY!!! You also get a nice little face cleaner brush, massager and trimming attachments. I’ve seen others for 4,4 even 5 times the price of this and almost bought one of those on that itself. How can something that costs so little act work so well, right? After the reviews on here and a few other places this is the one I had to try and I’m so glad I did. You will be too, I guarantee it. If you are a head shaver and/or have sensitive skin, stop looking and order this now. And NO, I am not someone paid to write this and I do not work or promote for the company. In fact in over 10 years I might have only left 4-5 reviews for anything I’ve bought on here and I buy all the time. This is just do good and I’m so happy that I finally found something that worked and worked better than I could have ever expected that I had to leave this super long review. That part I didn’t mean but I just can’t stop. I guess I will now though as I’m sure you get my point.

Unfortunately, this shaver did not perform as well as I had hoped. No matter how much I angled, or the amount of pressure applied to the shaver, I simply could not get a good smooth shave. I made a number of passes everytime I used it and constantly cleaned the tiny pieces of hair out of it during my shaves but still didn't perform up to expectations. Not to mention, after maybe the second use, I started getting razor bumps. Yes, I thoroughly cleaned and sterilized it after each use.Even after shaving my head completely with clippers adjusted all of the way down for the lowest cut and without any guards, then cleaning my head from any hair shavings, this shaver was unable to give me a good, smooth shave. I tried using it every two days, then every other day and neither helped with a better shave. I did not try shaving everyday because my skin is so sensitive and there would have been even more razor bumps than I already had.Let me just say that I am an African American male, and I have worn the bald look for over a decade or two. However, it is difficult to find razors/clippers that will give me a good, clean & smooth shave especially without razor bumps. The same stood true with this shaver.My low rating by no means is saying that this is not a good shaver. It simply did not perform up to my expectations for my head/hair. Others may have a better experience than mine. My low rating is solely due to not being able to get a clean, smooth shave on my head. With that being said, I cannot say if I do or do not recommend this shaver. I'm neutral in that respect.

Excellent clippers. Foil shavers like these take a little bit of technique, but provide a super smooth shave for my head.
