I received this as a gift, and I love it! This cheese grater has a strong suction base that keeps it securely in place. I addition to cheese, I’ve used it for grating carrots, cabbage, and potatoes, but it doesn’t work for onions. It’s easy to use and clean, making it a wonderful addition to my kitchen!

Used for grating blocks of cheese and this was pretty handy. Works best with cold cheese. I really liked how it mounts to counter with suction so it doesn't move. Great value forth money. Not extra fancy, exactly what it needs to be.

First of all, I absolutely LOVE this grater. It's safe (my fingers aren't anywhere near where the cutters are), the assembly is quick and effective (the suction doesn't fail), and the cleanup doesn't take long. I've had a regular grater for years, but it would take awhile to shred the cheese and it wasn't quite safe. I had previously owned a small handheld grater with a crank; the assembly and cleanup took too long to make it worth using. Anyway, since I received this particular grater a couple weeks ago, I've used it several times. It doesn't go into storage for very long before I end up using it again. I can grate a 7 oz block of cheese in less than 30 seconds. Very effective for both hard and soft cheeses. I've also used it to grate up zucchini; it worked well for that also. Highly recommend!

AMAZING!! I cannot stress enough.. EVERYONE NEEDS THIS. It shreds a block of cheese in seconds. We make homemade laundry soap and it’s strong enough to grate a bar of soap. Buy this item!!
